    Hello everyone, this is Xiaoxiaoyang! The rural aunt brewed the fine wine of the Song Dynasty-red yeast rice wine. The ancient koji-making wine is still used today. The glutinous rice is steamed→cooled→added with red wine koji→washed rice water→sealed for half a year. After half a year, let's have a drink together!
    A hill of vegetables, a bay of lake water, a piece of mountains and rivers connected~
    This is Xiaoxiaoyang, telling about life in rural Fujian.

    I love your big clay jars...in my hometown, we make ricewine too...i prefer drinking ricewine when it's sweet but then I will get tipsy or drowsy after drinking much of it..it's irresistible! In my hometown, they usually serve this on wedding occasions or election campaign....

      That’s Chinese red yeast rice (红曲). It breaks down the rice starch into sugar.
