It's our first full day in Geneva so we headed out for a walking tour around Old Town to explore all of the fancy designer shops, Lake Geneva and of course try out the excellent local tram system! This is our first ever trip to Switzerland so we were pretty shocked about how expensive everything is, but it doesn't take away from the fact that Geneva is an awesome city and well worth a visit!

My local British heart foundation shop has / tries to sell so much Claire’s stuff. As the local Oxfam has become a Zara. I found a pair of Louis Vuitton sunglasses for 50p in a charity shop.
Not sure time it takes to Turin. You can take a train 🚆 from Geneva to Turin it only takes 4 and a half hours. Great video I lived near Geneva for 4 years it great to see the city again 😂.
Love the vlog. Generally looks very pretty. Anna's brief dance was great to see. Shame about the walk back to get hotel, even th5the footage is great. Suggestions for cities - Copenhagen, Lille, Athens.

Why didn't you hire her a mobility scooter or wheelchair for the trip. Might be an idea for future reference. Most major cities rent them am sure with a quick Google you could find one for your next destination.

She has a bad knee or something so walking hard for her and walking fast is not easy
She has a torn meniscus, and combined with her ongoing back problems she’s in constant pain.
Can Anna be helped with a wheelchair !! She would enjoy trips so much more !!

She doesn’t want to use a wheelchair. Eventually she’ll get her referral to the pain clinic and/or surgery, until then, she’s choosing to make do with the walking stick.

That’s what I was thinking he rushes around with the camera while she struggles and with the airport video why did he not take some of her bags 😂🙈
Because I had my own bag! And it might sound harsh, but we weren’t on a holiday, it was a work trip where we were travelling specifically to make videos, so if I’d have put the camera away and carried her bags there wouldn’t have been any point taking the trip in the first place…
Like I said in the video, one of the purposes of Anna coming on this short trip and short flight was to work out what support she needs when we go on holiday and it’s a longer trip and a longer flight. She hadn’t flown for 25 years, so we had no idea how she would find the airport
@@kevinchapmanvlog no offence meant Kev but as a disabled person and chronic pain sufferer who's been through pain management, she needs more than she got on this trip because that little walking stick was doing nothing. A mobility scooter is the way to go as you both have your freedom then. I even play Pokemon Go on mine Anna.
She didn’t want a scooter. I’m not going to make her do something she doesn’t want to do

I really enjoy your travel vlogs, but please leave Anna at home next time. To get the most out of city breaks you have to be prepared to get at least 10-15K steps in a day. Not being able to walk and enjoy yourself because your in so much pain is no fun for anybody, she looked so fed up. Most cities also have hop on hop off bus tours which might be worth looking at for future trips. Once Anna has had surgery and is back to full fitness I highly recommend Munich, Germany for a mid week break. Lots of free walking tours, and some fascinating history.
Anna is a grown up. She decides which trips she wants come on, not me! She didn’t come to Barcelona or Turin, but she wanted to go to Switzerland. I’m not going to tell her she can’t!
Please help Anna more she looks so sad and in pain walk little slower or get her something she can sit in so she can explore more
She doesn’t want to use a wheelchair. She’s in pain all the time, whether she’s out or at home, moving or not. She chooses what she does and doesn’t want to do.
