Today we're checking out 'How Well Does BTS Know Each Other? | BTS Game Show | Vanity Fair'
BTS (Korean: 방탄소년단; RR: Bangtan Sonyeondan; lit. Bulletproof Boy Scouts), also known as the Bangtan Boys, is a South Korean boy band formed in 2010. The band consists of Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook, who co-write or co-produce much of their material. Originally a hip hop group, they expanded their musical style to incorporate a wide range of genres, while their lyrics have focused on subjects including mental health, the troubles of school-age youth and coming of age, loss, the journey towards self-love, individualism, and the consequences of fame and recognition. Their discography and adjacent work has also referenced literature, philosophy and psychology, and includes an alternate universe storyline.
BTS debuted in 2013 under Big Hit Entertainment with the single album 2 Cool 4 Skool. BTS released their first Korean and Japanese-language studio albums, Dark & Wild and Wake Up respectively, in 2014. The group's second Korean studio album, Wings (2016), was their first to sell one million copies in South Korea. By 2017, BTS had crossed into the global music market and led the Korean Wave into the United States, becoming the first Korean ensemble to receive a Gold certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for their single "Mic Drop", as well as the first act from South Korea to top the Billboard 200 with their studio album Love Yourself: Tear (2018). In 2020, BTS became one of the few groups since the Beatles (in 1966-1968) to chart four US number-one albums in less than two years, with Love Yourself: Answer (2018) becoming the first Korean album certified Platinum by the RIAA; in the same year, they also became the first all-South Korean act to reach number one on both the Billboard Hot 100 and Billboard Global 200 with their Grammy-nominated single "Dynamite". Follow-up releases "Savage Love", "Life Goes On", "Butter", and "Permission to Dance" made them the fastest act to earn four US number-one singles since Justin Timberlake in 2006.
As of 2023, BTS is the best-selling artist in South Korean history according to the Circle Chart, having sold in excess of 40 million albums. Their studio album Map of the Soul: 7 (2020) is the third best-selling album of all time in South Korea, as well as the first in the country to surpass both four and five million registered sales. They are the first non-English-speaking and Asian act to sell out concerts at Wembley Stadium and the Rose Bowl (Love Yourself World Tour, 2019), and were named the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry's (IFPI) Global Recording Artist of the Year for both 2020 and 2021. The group's accolades include multiple American Music Awards, Billboard Music Awards, Golden Disc Awards, and nominations for five Grammy Awards. Outside of music, they have addressed three sessions of the United Nations General Assembly and partnered with UNICEF in 2017 to establish the Love Myself anti-violence campaign. Featured on Time's international cover as "Next Generation Leaders" and dubbed the "Princes of Pop", BTS has also appeared on Time's lists of the 25 most influential people on the internet (2017-2019) and the 100 most influential people in the world (2019), and in 2018 became the youngest recipients of the South Korean Order of Cultural Merit for their contributions in spreading the Korean culture and language.
On June 14, 2022, the group announced a scheduled pause in group activities to enable the members to complete their mandatory South Korean military service, with a reunion planned for 2025. Jin, the oldest member, enlisted on December 13, 2022, followed by J-Hope on April 18, 2023, and Suga on September 22, 2023.

One of the funniest examples of how well BTS know each other is when they are filming separately from each other and a member or a few of them say “I bet so and so is doing this or saying this in reaction to this” and then the video cuts to the members in question doing exactly that 🤣💜
Exactly!! Especially on Bon Voyage (Hawaii I think it was) where there were the fireworks and they guess how each member would react and they were 100% correct 😂😂💜

Some of these answers are deep cuts. Like at 8:45 when they ask Jin was his favorite song was he answered "Jjiniyah". It's a song by an old school style singer named Young Tak.
Basically the chorus is "Jin Jin Jin Jin Jjiniyah!"
It became little bit of a meme because while people were watching the MMA award show for BTS, Young Tak appeared on stage singing this song and everyone was like wtf he sounds like he's talking about BTS Jin. (He's not but Korean is funny ilke that)
As for Jungkook's food that he would eat for the rest of his life he wrote Samgyupsal (Grilled Pork Belly) which is the truth but he scratched it off and went with LOVE ARMY instead to be cheeky.

When this interview/quiz game dropped it was one of my most watched videos around that time era...well this and their "the most searched questions" interview - I highly recommend😊 Btw, these both were released during covid so that's why JK's saying that they haven't performed "On" in front of Army yet since it was released shortly before lockdown happened, which is pity since it is such a banger it would have definitely help them broke a lot of records (mostly set by themselves) and we would have seen what they prepared for their tour that got canceled😢 ... yes, this is my way of trying to persude you to react to "On kinetic manifecto" 😅😂

Love this kind of reactions ! You guys said you liked a good game show ? BTS have a whole variety show where they play games, challenges and a bunch of other stuff. It's called RUN BTS, they started in 2015 and it has now around 160 episodes. It's honestly one of the best thing BTS ever started because you get to see them in a "non-performer" way, interacting with each other like they do in every day life and it really gives us a glimpse of who they really are as individuals. I personally think RUN BTS is one of the things that makes Army so huge because we can relate to them and see them in very "normal" light (they're far from normal you'll realize 🤣) The members are some of the funniest people I've ever seen and also very competitive with each other (playfully). You're just sure that you'll spend a good time watching RUN BTS, laugher guaranteed 😄
If you do react to some episodes, you don't have to go in order ! You can choose whichever you like. I personally started with the recent ones at the time and then I just randomly picked some other episodes based of clips I've came across on social media/youtube. Of course there are some iconic episode though !😄

They were still living all together at the time this was made. They lived together from the time they were trainees (2010-2012) until 2022 when they finally moved into their own places. But they still live near each other. They consider each other family. yes, they know a lot about each other.

Bts own channel is Bangtantv and their companys channel is Hybe. In Bangtantv channel, there is a lot of short behind the scenes videos dating back to the beginning of their career and dance practises, vlogs, performances like Tiny deskk, award shows, american tv shows etc. In the Hybe channel, they have their official music videos. So, I would recommend checking Bangtantv channel from the beginning, maybe taking few behind the scenes clips from here and there, it might be too much to go in order 💜
