There is a supplementary Nier lore/theory, that kind of states that accord resides in the night kingdom, which is located on the continent of both south and north America. It’s also a theory that Cathedral city from Drakengard three was actually transported at an unknown time from the world that Nier is is based in in. We have never seen the night Kingdom in the games since they are on separate continents, so perhaps most of the stories in nier reincarnation so far, are taking place on both the continent of the night kingdom and the continents where the games take place.
i really just want a gears of war style game in the nier series set on the dark side of the earth, cuz theyre implied to be relatively disconnected from the machine war and the tower and obviously thats where accord hangs out doing...stuff. maybe she could be the protagonist or the villain lmao

Man I love Accord. It's a war crime that she still hasn't made an in-game appearance since 2013 (ignoring SINoALICE lol). So many mysteries with her like why can't they interfere with the timelines? Why do they have the phones if they can't interfere in the first place (unless it was supposed to be for an emergency like the Fall Down)? There's been so many references and build up recently that points to her making another major appearance that I really hope actually happens because if she's not, I'm probably gonna evaporate lmao. If she still doesn't appear at all after all this time, it would be devastating for many people I think.

She appeared in Reincarnation, in the People and the World as predicted: When a guy was telling stories that were strangely symbolic, she appears in an image as the narrator says: “The Tale I weave for you now is about a puppet that travels the world. The puppet’s goal is to observe how humans live their lives. The puppet continues its journey still, carrying its large suitcase with it”. This confirms she made it into the main Nier timeline and is still present when YoRHa exist.
My opinions on Accord are complicated. On one hand, I'm excited about how the story could move forward. There is a lot of potential with the wacky time travel and dimension hopping stuff. On another hand, time travel isn't done right in many games and movies. It's mostly a tool to fix past mistakes. Like, a person that you really like died? Just time travel to the past, save them and boom, they are alive. It's lazy and it also invalidates the past events. In this regard, Titanfall 2 is the only game that did time travel right among the games that I've played so far. It's both a sick gameplay tool that also makes up one of the most memorable sections in the game, but also it doesn't ruin the story in the way I said. But I have faith in Yoko Taro that he will come up with an interesting story if he decides to include Accord in his next game(s).

True but... the branches and parallel universes setup is nothing like the time travel rule systems established in those fictions. If we play as Accord, the goal will be preventing the falldown event, so like resurrection it will be trying to make the scenario happen in a way that will lead us down the branch that is the path to the future. There is no changing the future, only creating new branches which may actually increase the risk of the falldown. Also, I think we may have seen the falldown event happen in Drakengard ending D: it says "At long last, the jumping hands of time will be halted by a weakling cast in eternal solitude." Could that have referred to HER, the administrator instead of seere? That black/white crystal stuff is shown with a rising sun, then the sun seems to stop in place. They said it would collapse every timeline, but might that mean only the subsequent branches of that branch? Using this logic the falldown occurring back far enough would destroy all of the timelines we know, but maybe that one only affected a dead-end timeline anyway.
I wonder how strong she is. Everyone seems to believe Intoners are stronger than characters like 2B and other YORHA Androids. But Accord clowned on Zero.
FINALLY SOME LOVE FOR MA GURL ACCORD!!! also for story continuation; Accord is currently in the Kingdom of Night post-Automata(confirmed from an old Yoko Taro interview), Automata took place in other side of planet where is perpetually daytime since axis stopped spinning for some reason, so it was always day when we played Automata where Accord was the other side of the planet. And replicant’s giant flower from route E is HUGE hint that she is still involved with the observations and the ‘Watchers’. So theoretically for next game the narrative could be explored from Accord’s side of observers and maybe some Watchers backstories. Hope Sqeenix gives Yoko the freedom and money to develop and give one of the best girl her spotlight to shine
For real, we need some Accord love and it would be great to get more Drakengard call-backs in NieR. Like I remember all the hype people had seeing The Cult’s faces on Eve’s chest in Automata and I loved hearing the old man in the library in Replicant question how WCS and a dragon came from another world.
Most important character is Octa. If he didn't give Decadus a boost to land on Mikhail with Z, and help Zero and Mikhail defeat the ancient dragon, they never would have destroyed the Black Flower.
Looks like she is also watching events that happens in Nier Reincarnation too. Books in the game mentionning "This branch is over after all, I should end it" can only be one thing ! (it's in the 3rd arc within the library) I hope we may eventually see her before the game end though.
Accord can also mean a pact, maybe the Fool's Accord weapon lore is about her, and I think that she also dress similar to Adam so her origins might be similar, I believe could've come from Automata's Pod and a pact being made.
So... the next game in the series should definitely be the player playing AS ACCORD! Imagine, freely traveling to all the different eras and locations in all the branches of all the alternate universes. Make this happen Yoko, you could fill in all the gaps and let us see everything while tying it all together with a cute bow! And the way the mama went back and gave the stories to her past self in resurrection, I'm thinking all the remaining accords became mama programs when not needed to observe anymore. Her precious memories would be too important to throw away, being the method to resurrect the human race.

Route T, named in honor of Singularity, Intoner Two, a branch that was discovered after route D's sealing. Zero's arsenal was found by the other sisters before me or Zero could get our hands on them. The dark magic available in them seems to have left Two more sensitive to her sisters' struggles, as her fear for her dark power grows. Observations in divergence, route W, of this branch includes a notiçably better cooperation between the sisters, minus Zero, and more exploration of their powers and their effects. The nations seem to benefit greatly from this mood evolution in the sisters. Unfortunately, not all flaws are fixed, and the Flower corrupts them further with each passing day. However, these events present new possibilities of potential ways to limit the Flower without going through such extremes, perhaps even reverse them. We'll alternate more between this branch's ramifications this time. If simply destroying the Flower isn't enough to save humanity, perhaps enforcing further study upon it will reveal the final solution.

You are 10,000% correct. She is not only important I think she has a lot of the secrets that are below the world of Nier and Drankengard.
