Absolutely nothing wrong with using old implements. The build quality is far superior with better quality steel than most of the implements purchased brand new today. Besides, nothing really moves on a ripper, you're dragging metal though the ground.
Good on ya for figuring out a solution to a problem using something destined for the scrap heap. I look forward to seeing how the LS does with this tool.

You are right . It is a little bit of work but FAR less cost then running out and buying new . The only issue on the ripper is finding new tips/teeth for the shanks. Videos coming soon as always thanks for your comments ahd watching
