Fan tas tic! I love seeing this kind of walk around/familiarization videos. Great narrative by Mr. Hunton. I learned a lot!

The CJ-6 is my realistic dream airplane. It seems like it's the warbird equivalent of an early Mooney: fast, efficient, and relatively less expensive than comparable airplanes. Awesome video!

The Nanchang was one of the very first aircraft I worked on as a apprentice aero engineer in Australia.
Ours had just arrived from China and was still in its original paint.

The brake release button in the rear cockpit is for the instructor to release the brakes in case the student runs of the runway and jams the brakes on instead of steering the aircraft back onto the runway.
Our yak 52 has the identical button in the rear.

Interesting walkaround--thanks. Curious about the fairing on top of the cowl, just in front of the "nosegear down" indicator.
