@0:08, this is incorrect. For opening hands that have a Bauble and a mill rock, the most effective and efficient use of the two cards is to use them as a surveil effect to filter your own draws rather than check the top card of an opponent's deck. The reasoning is that the probability of an opponent having a legitimate threat on top that stops the lock from being set is *extremely* low. The priority should be assembling the lock. The Lantern pilot should already know that the opponent is on Goblins because the opponent named Goblins with Cavern of Souls. The Aether Vial on top is a dead card if the Lantern pilot has an opener that assembles the lock by around turn 4-5 (which each opening hand *should* be able to do in order to be keepable).
@00:23, the Lantern pilot forgot about their Bauble trigger.
From what I see in the Lantern pilot's hand on their turn 2, it looks like they *are* going to assemble the lock by around turn 4-5, but they still need a discard spell or a Needle to solidify the lock.
@10:16, what did the Lantern pilot name with Pithing Needle? They already have a Bridge in play, so the only serious threat should be damage dealt with Sling-Gang Lieutenant. Pashalik Mons could also be a problem, but the Lantern pilot should be gaining more life than Mons can deal damage if they're using the Cookbook correctly.
@15:15, playing Saga on turn one is *almost always* incorrect. It's best to allow for possible maximum value by still allowing them to create blockers if need be, and to not manascrew ourselves if we need to cast Bridge and don't draw another land.
@16:00, it's probably better to cast Thoughtseize and Needle here. It's better for emptying the hand faster and the Thoughtseize should slow the opponent down.
@17:57, there is no reason to cast Bridge here. The opponent will be able to swing under Bridge anyways. It's better (again) to cast Thoughtseize/Needle to slow the opponent down as much as possible and ensure that the Bridge/Tutor seal the lock.
@21:55, we see here exactly what I meant about playing the Saga on turn one. Now the Lantern pilot is stuck on two mana with four cards in hand.
