Toner vacuum or compressed air
Screwdriver
Needle nose pliers
Toner for Brother TN1000 TN1050 (40 grams)
Reset gear (optional) for the starter cartridge
Isopropyl alcohol

Thank you for the guide, but may I ask if the toner is just powder and no need to pour it with a little amount of water... I'm sorry but I am just confuse if the toner itself as powder is as to refill in the cartridge? Thank you.
No water, add only the powder. The water would destroy the cartridge
I have a problem and make reset to hl-1110 sprocket put in, and everything I fold and close the printer flips and jumps sprocket. A reset does not report it was still empty toner. Thanks for the advice
rotate manually the developer roller of the cartridge, and watch what happen. if it's blocked, may be the blendig rod inside the cartidge is blending or broken

My printer is DCP 1510 with TN 1000. I refilled my toner but Printer doesn't respond to refilled toner. It always displays low toner. Help me here

push MENU button
push DOWN ARROW until you see in the display "INFO" or something so.
push OK
push DOWN ARROW until "RESET DRUM"
hold and keep holding OK until on display apper "RESET"
push START button
push UP ARROW until "10"
push OK. it should appear "ACCEPTED"
push STOP button until back to MENU.

Is the drum unit worn? Check the drum unit
My Printer is DCP1511 with TN 1020. i replaced my toner cartridge but still not getting good quality print. print quality is very light or bad. plz help me

Hi! Previously I installed reset gear in my free toner and it worked perfectly. Now I refilled the same toner with the same reset gear but the printer always prompts low toner.. (printer is brother HL 1110)

try this:
1 turn off the printer
2 hold and keep holding the power button
3 when the lights are lit, open the printer cover. continue to hold power button
4 remove drum unit with the toner cartridge
5 release the power button
6 Reinstall the drum unit with the toner and close the cover
7 push 2 times power button
8 wait some seconds
9 push 6 times power button. now the toner should be reset

What kind of cloth do you use for cleaning the developer roll? Can we rub it like that? I thought that would damage it
A normal cotton soft cloth will work. If you carefully clean it, the roller will not be damaged

it's waste toner, you could have grey backgroud and low quality prints
@@viandant5 i thought there is a problem with the catridge, it print very light gray the whole page after I fill with 30gr new toner without cleaning left toner inside. Thank you so much, I will clean and refill

may be the problem is related to the drum unit. Try cleaning it, it's simply to disassembly

no ink, it's not an inkjet cartridge, it's a toner cartridge.
Hi. Good video. I´ve a problem, after refilling, the printer stops every 3 sheets and starts again before 5 seconds. How can I fix this?
I already reset the printer pressing 6 times the power button an also 7 times, but the problem is still there.

As I told you before in my first comment, I already tried de reset procedure you are suggesting me (pressing 6 times the power button on a HL-1112), but the problem is still there. It´s very strange. Thank´s anyway for your help.
my printer works fine without the reset gear, what the reset gear for?
It will work fine until it reach the number of copies related to that cartridge. then you'll have an error message
what is the problem dull or light printing in left side?
May be the drum unit is out of position, a part of the toiner cartridge keeps the toner roller far from the drum. Are you sure the cartridge has been installed in the right way?

U disassembled it and I didn't find how it gets connected
Wael Badr it gets connected with the printer. there is a gear in the printer that engage the cartridge reset gear
Hans Landa the starter cartridge comes with new printers, and the counter of new printers is zero.
why waste the exising toner
It's waste toner, it could cause grey background on the sheet

@@ArjayMartin The waste toner in Brother techonology return back to the cartridge, that's why there is not a waste toner container. So at the end of the cycle of the cartridge, inside it there is waste toner
