- Yay, the big DLC is finally here. Will it explain how Sage got her form? Probably not. Guess I'm doomed to assume all of Eggman's appliances randomly turn into anime girls at a moment's notice.
...I forgot to credit Euan again. Damnit. Sorry man, for some reason you keep escaping my mind. - Zábava
Also thank you Euan for Eggman's voice.
Not to mention, you called the game sonic forces
Mr Roger how feel work ¿sol sestencia 2? :D
Sage got her form after interfacing with Cyber Space, it upgraded her by a massive amount.
Right, so who decided she looks like an anime girl? Eggman wouldn't bother programming that in a device that already had a physical look and sage doesn't resemble an ancient. But mostly, I'm just bothered Eggman has zero reaction to this happening. Them meeting for the first time is offscreen and whenever he talks about Sage in his memo's he only talks about how he created her, he never expresses any thoughts on why she magically gained a physical form out of nowhere. Nor questions whether the ancients cyberspace ( or hell, the end for that matter) could corrupt her programming or thinking. Despite being trapped and everything going wrong, he has zero concerns about his device magically gaining form and personality and blindly trusts it to save him from the very boobytrap that created her.
The fact everyone so casually accepts this and has no further thought on the matter, despite in the middle of solving a cyberspace mystery, just gives the vibe that Eggman' machines randomly turning into anime girls is normal.
@@Rogerregorroger😂 yep
@@Rogerregorroger Eggman is so used to the weird that he just accepts things I think. But on the note of gaining personality, I have actually a theory:
Eggman is a Engineer able to build great machines, but a terrible Programmer. He just gives every robot he builds the same basic AI and then lets it learn on its own. Thats why the robots have training courses, the Trains can fall into love, and he does not bat a eye when his email program starts calling him father.
@@Rogerregorroger you know roger when you put it like that it just show how hypocrite is the more casual/normie side of the fanbase (and people who only like sonic to a distance), the same motherfuckers who never stopped to bitching about many gimmicks in the 2000 (despite them having a explanation either in game or outside of the game) they dont have any problem to accept sage and the other half baked and half explained concepts introduced in frontiers. (wich is kind of funny when most of the time they are the kind of people who hate anime tropes like the "x thing transforms into a anime girl).
This just further proves that Sage is a reincarnation of Rei Ayanami.
It's just Eggman's stuff, not all of humanity.
Even in death he's making us laugh.
1:23 did she said Sonic Forces when we are in a Sonic Frontiers cartoon? Fr...
The trend of accidentally saying Forces when we mean Frontiers and vice versa is alive and well, I see.
if only the game remained Sonic Rangers, my brain wouldn't stumble over it all the time.
Tough hey, to my defense, all Sage said was "Sonic Forces was made by Sega and Sonic Team" which, while irrelevant to this cartoon, is still a correct statement, so there ya go.
@@Rogerregorroger "Technically correct" is, as we all know, the best kind of correct
Nice job on this mate, I don't want to see Sage the Toilet XD. Euan did great as Eggman and I love the random Gilbert Gottfried cameo by Melty XD.
sonic frontiers: attack of the clones
that fuckin last sentence LMAO
Legend of our childhood
I don't particularly hate Sage (she's a cute human anime emo girl and she isn't annoying), but her daughter-father relationship with Eggman feels kinda forced and completely overshadows Metal Sonic - his firstborn, who's in fact the most complex and at the same time the most wasted character in the series (Shadow at the very least had his glory days, Metal Sonic was just a monster (or merely a henchbot) of the week). Comics (and OVA a little bit) at least tried to explore it a bit, but Heroes and 4 are the only games where Metal personality and Eggman relationship with him are explored.
Pretty sure Metal wasn't supposed to _have_ a personality. In Sonic CD he was just a soulless killing machine designed to match Sonic's abilities and an upgrade of Mecha Sonic MKII (though as seen with the unpainted upgraded Mecha Sonics in stasis tubes on the Egg Carrier in Sonic Adventure, he is _not_ Mecha Sonic MKIII) . The idea he even had a personality came from the OVA.
@@mattwo7 I completely disagree. Metal Sonic was a step above Mecha Sonics (all 3 of them) because he was an actual selling point of the game he was starring in instead of a surprise boss. He had a personality as well compared to other copies: he mocks Sonic with his signature finger wag before their fateful race and he was hurting Sonic more personally by going after innocents: Amy and animals.
With the amount of marketing and focus what was put into him I'm pretty sure he was already planned to be a recurring enemy of Sonic. It's just Sonic Team didn't (and still don't) know what to do with him, so he was relegated to spin-off games and secret playable character slot until Sonic Heroes (and then he was shelved again until Sonic 4 and Generations).
@@TheNemesis432 By that logic, Vector, Knack, the Battle Kukku Empire, the Sea Fox and Witchcart would have been used more often, Knuckles would have had more solo games and Tails would have more than two.
The closest to any of that we got was -Knack- Fang in Sonic the Fighters.
@@mattwo7 To be fair Battle Kukku and Witchcart were characters from spinoff of a spinoff (handheld AND Tails solo) and Tails technically did have more than two solo games.
Sea Fox design is actually referenced in Tornado 2 and Tornado 3/Cyclone and it got a surprise reappearance in handheld Sonic Boom games (besides they only made big deal out of it in Tails Adventure, so that was just a really nice use of continuity on their part).
I'll say having even one solo game is already damn impressive. Only four character other than Sonic have them (Knuckles, Tails, Shadow AND Metal Sonic as small as his solo game was).
Vektor has a pretty impressive presence nowadays. Getting into spin-offs over Espio and especially Charmy and Chaotix weren't completely ignored at the time with surprising reappearance of Espio in Fighters.
I completely agree with Knack (Fang). Only Sonic, Eggman, Tails, Knuckles, Metal Sonic and Amy had more appearances than him until Heroes. If Team Hooligans wasn't scrapped he would probably be a recurring character in Modern era (very happy to see him in Superstars, his illusion (?) in Mania was nice, but wasn't enough).
This is probably the single most unsettling thing Roger has created to this date.
I was considering subscribing, but Sage convinced me, she has got a way with words.
Wow this went crazy as I thought
Cool Animation!
I guess I'm Sage now
End of Evangelion, 2023, colorized
I say something to you, I hate this anime
Yep 😊
She got her physical form after integrating with cyberspace
Rather, Cyberspace works like an programmable alternate dimension, that you can be halfway in or move stuff in and out. Sage just got downloaded into Cyberspace and could move from there into physical reality to some degree, influencing it.
Also, that means that Ancients figured out how to download a car.

Eggette and Eggman's Other Daughters: *ARE WE A JOKE TO YOU!?!?*

The closest to official is M, and that's the Archie preboot.

WaruShokora was the _bad_ ending (the one with her as a toddler is the worst ending).
A shit ton of WHAT now, Gilbert Gottfried?
Hahaha

Oh and last thing
HEH BALDY MC NOSE HAIR 🤪
WTAF
I... don't think I get the joke.
That everyone reacted so casually (or rather, not at all) to Eggman's device magically turning into an anime girl in Frontiers and never question her relation with the cyberspace they're fighting.
As if Eggman's devices magically turning into girls is a normal occurance not worthy of a response, like it happens all the time.
So that's what it does in this cartoon.
@@Rogerregorroger Oh... so the device on the beginning was her? That totally escaped me.
But you know, nobody really questioned that in game, because nobody saw it, Eggman was there alone.
Maybe you mean the fans. Makes sense. Not me, because I didn't really revisit the starting cutscene to realize she was this machine.
@@ShadowTheHedgehogCZ i never noticed or realized it myself, someone had to tell me. Which is exactly why i mock it, it's so undercooked. And then there's a preequel comic and cartoon that didn't help.
