Never laughed as much at a toaster video. That's words I was not expecting to use today. 😂

Well done review, love your style! FWIW, my experience with the exact same toaster: Loved it right out of the bag for all the reasons you describe. But...a bit over a year of use it just ceased to function (the handle would not stay down). After a LOT of effort (hidden screws, different screw heads PLUS bent metal portions made me think they don't want you to service it yourself!) I managed to completely open it up and see what is going on. The issue is a VERY POORLY designed electrical switch that is activated by the push lever. The actual switch portion is totally unprotected, with the result being that bread crumbs etc build up in the switch thus keeping from actual electrical contact being made to start the toasting process.
Once diagnosed, the problem area was extremely difficult to get to. I managed to clean it all up by using a Q-tip and all is well again after closing everything back up.
Given the inherent problem, it will only be a matter of time before the same thing will occur again.
So, my take: absolutely great toaster when it works but burdened with a fatal flaw. I may go through the process of cleaning again (which in time is SURE to be needed again), but once I'll be fed up I will definitely stay away from this model.

Great review! Just so you know, frozen bread isn't for crazy people, it's for people who make their own bread. Homemade bread is better, but goes stale much faster.

Toaster still works fine, but the gap in the middle is a deal breaker imo. If you like darker toast the middle will be noticeably lighter and dark on the edges

Honestly not really. It's well built and good quality but the heating elements have a gap so the edges of the toast get burnt while the middle isn't. I wouldn't buy another. Doesn't make sense why they didn't put a heating element the whole way across

That can be solved by pushing the lever to or past the 75% mark.
