About this channel: We are the Smith's. A Christian family of 6, living in the country just outside of Georgetown, Texas. Granger, an author and former country music singer, Amber, an actor and stay at home mom, and their children: London, Lincoln, River (who we lost when he was 3yrs old) and Maverick.

I just ordered Granger’s new book for my 8 yr old grandson. He lost an elderly neighbor and his friend/classmate in the same weekend. Jaxton saw a cloud that looked like an angel and asked his mom, my daughter, if she thought his friend, Hunter, drew the angel to let everyone know that he is in heaven with Jesus. A few weeks afterwards, he told my daughter that he wants to be Baptized. He still brings up his friend and is occasionally sad. I hope this is a book they can read together and talk about then he can read on his own. Thank you both for sharing your writings with us all.

Had my tonsils taken out in second grade. That was the best rainbow I've ever seen! God is close. Maverick is so cute. Love the jungle gym and that tractor is the best!

I had my tonsils removed last year at 52 years old and it was the worst recovery and the longest I have ever navigated through! Ears,nose,throat and neck 😩 It is not for the weak I told my ENT at my check up. Thanking Jesus for his recovery and his mama to comfort and walk through that with this precious young man ❤️
He’s learning so much. His little words are so cool I could just listen and watch all day makes me smile and really brightens up my day. Thank you guys for sharing.

I hope Lincoln’s surgery makes him feel better. It definitely helped my nephew. Of course little Mav loves City Boy Stuck. He is so adorable. He has the cutest personality. I love how London and Lincoln love on him. Such a little blessing. ❤

I feel bad for how young of his age he has to lose his Tonsils, but it will benefit him for the good. I hope he heals up and gets better! 💖
I’m so glad to hear Lincoln can hopefully be a kids again and enjoy being one without having allergy problems . Also that the surgery went well. The clubhouse will be so much fun .
I had a pre-ordered Granger's book and we received it a few days ago. My daughter and I loved reading it! The story and pictures are just beautiful.
Praying for a speedy recovery for Lincoln, I took mine out when I was 16 ,I would get strep about every six weeks,after I took my tonsils out I wasn’t sick for three years

Get well soon Lincoln xx My son's was worse day 7-10. His strep and the rest went away...bam..doctors said he won the lottery and tonsil tissue started to grow back when he was 10.. 4 years later.

I hope Lincoln is feeling better now since having his tonsils out I remember having mine out as a child so feel so sorry for him but he will be so happy not to be sick any more. I loved the rainbow wow to be blessed with that was wonderful. I have never seen the end of a rainbow so thank you so much for sharing.
My 11yo had a t and a recently.... days 1-7 were the worst for us. Glad Lincoln did well.
So glad to hear Lincoln is recovering well. My grandson had that surgery when he was 4 yrs and it was rough. He still gets strep but only a couple times a year vs 7-8 times. God bless y’all 🙏🏻❤️🎈

Just so you know, girls archery is the most un-used scholarships in the nation.
My daughter was going through an incredibly hard day with her health as she was in a really bad place. She walked out side our house and there was the most majestic full rainbow at the end of our street. She knew it was encouragement just for her. She was going to be OK. God keeps his promises! 🌈

This was so interesting to see. Our son had his out a week before Lincoln. My son was so excited to meet Lincoln this weekend. He hopes to see him again! We love the Smith family and enjoyed getting to meet and chat with each of you in person.

Way to hang tough Linc! I had my tonsils removed when I was just a bit older than you and it was the best thing I ever had. That pain every couple of months was brutal. Nice to catch up with the Smith's!
I enjoyed this vlog so much😊 I actually cried when I saw the double 🌈. It reminded me of two things, one of GODS promise & reminded me of my beloved grandmother & grandfather bc the only Double rainbow I ever seen in my life ended in there yard. It was such a pleasant surprise. I was driving to there house when I saw it & said to my self I wonder where it ends, I pulled up in there driveway & there the end of the 🌈 was...GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME🙏 I'll never forget it.

Never seen a rainbow quite like what y'all got to see. That was cool. That Maverick! Love the fact that we just never know what he's gonna do next. Amber from one momma to another. You may check into immuno drops for Lincoln’s allergies. My son also had a big tonsil, adenoids and sinus procedure in 2023 and. Him being on the drops have really helped my son from having sinus flare ups since his big surgery. So much so I myself as an adult am starting on immunotherapy for myself. I am going through quello drops for mine. But my 11 year old gets his drops through his local ENT doctor.

Lincoln I'm so sorry you had to go through with that you are a strong and brave and awesome guy glad your feeling better ❤❤❤❤ my daughter is 8 and she has strep to several times. All winter but our school system here is messed up they want them to come to school sick and let the nurse send them home unless their running a fever so they expose their classmates and makes them sick which is ridiculous the doctor hasn't mentioned my daughter having her tonsils taken out yet but I have heard that it's easier to have them removed as a child than as an adult I don't know if it's true or not but that's what I have always heard .....maverick is a darling I sure wish I had his energy ❤❤❤❤
