Sleeves rolled up, tie loose....just another day at the office for this ole pro. Nicely done!
Air Canada will soon be changing to black/red checked flannel shirts.
Besides doctors, airplane pilots are the one group of professionals from whom the public demands absolute excellence.
Woozler554 as they should! We take our jobs just as seriously.
And behind every great pilot, is a great mechanic.
Car is safer pilots only take off and land because they use auto pilot they don't fly much you could be a pilot butt i would to see you become a doctor no reason to compare to a doctor
@@vincentraphaela1226 Where did you get THAT idea???
@@vincentraphaela1226 It's not about what they do, but about what they are capable to do.
Nice to see such professionals at work. They take what could be a tricky landing in their stride, no stress, just cool.
That captain seems like an awesome guy to work with. The aircraft looked like it was a handful on the landing. Nicely done!
Is great guy flew with him when he was an F/o on the 320
Much respect for the seasoned pilot ....👍🏻👍🏻
3:07 very professional way to do double checking and correction without hurting egos, excellent captain!
@5:09 love this part of the video. Flying this gigantic machine with such speed and closeness to buildings gave me thrill.
I like this Captain! In control, totally smooth & polite no less! Perfect!
Really cool and relaxed pilot.
Pilots are amazing.
Great work
Thank you Capt. For bringing us aboard
It was a pleasure to see this video of Boeing 767 landing at Saint Maarten, excellent work, thank you so much for sharing.
Thanks for sharing Captain. Great landing!!
Very beautiful approach and airplane
Thanks for sharing.
Awesome video, beautiful landing, picturesque scenery!!!
Wow what a pro! I love his surefire attitude!
The captain is good..smooth as silk..great job !!
What a likeable and highly motivated person that Cpt is ... !!
What a good and positive captain love it.
Amazing being on the beach there and the planes landing are 30 feet over your head!! Huge KLM s and so forth! They have a bar there they post all the arrivals and departures pretty cool!
Just a great overall video, pilot was very level headed, would make a good check-pilot.
Best Airplane videos ever😁😁
80's airplane cockpits looked incredible !
I was looking for the ashtray and ciglighter.
There are a ton of videos of planes flying in but less that show the procedural side and the master at the controls on touchdown. Very cool.
Great landing. Impressive.
The PIC is really cool 😎
So awesome! Amazing video, thanks for sharing.
So cool... thanks for sharing!!
Thanks very much Pam👍✈️
This is my favorite bird! I fly at least 20 hours a week on X plane 11 with this beast!!! Awesome plane....
Great format, cool flying.
As a former FA with AA...loved the video! Great job!
Another outstanding video. .thanku ...love an god bless x
Pilot relaxed and just focussed .. awesome
@@ephraimmathias9056 agree. .love this channel. .have a fantastic day. .love an god bless x
Best visual of the landing at about the 8:00 minute mark. Been to the beach. It IS way cool!! Advice-stay off the fence when big jets taking off. Also now understand why the Big ones have to go to the end to 180, lots of extra room.
Pilots are a special breed. That landing looked rough to me and the pilot was just smiling the whole time..
That's because you don't know what a good landing is kid
Wow ! Skilled Old School Guys !
Such a cool captain
This a professional completely at ease in a demanding work environment.
What a Great Video,,,,,
LOVE THE 767 PART MODERN PART OLD SCHOOL
Muito lindo 😍.
Loved it
I flight sim too much. I kept wanting to press my keyboard to try to change views.
@Cool Kannadiga that's cool. I have been in xplane for a few years now. Jumped from fsx while back. I like the orthophotos that can be layerd on top on scenery with xplane. But not as much offered in add ons like in p3d.
Well for me, classic good ol' fs9, FSX, and XP11....
I want to do flight after flight, but there’s not enough time in the world!
Okay great job
😍😍😍mi modelo favorito 767🛩🛩🛩
Jim retired now 787 sim instructor great guy flew with him when he was an F/O on 320
Please, dont change the sound of machine to music
Shameful effort JustPlanes! I'm interested in the sounds of the aircraft not the musical choices the video producer made for his vanity project. JustPlanes, presumably this video is indicative of the style of all your DVDs, therefore I'll never purchase any of your DVDs because I ONLY EVER want to hear the sounds in the cockpit and of the aircraft, and not whatever pathetic music your producer chooses to overdub.
@@JuiceRabbit Relax. It's just a compilation of footage for the trailer. I own many of their products, they don't dub music over anything ever.
@@JuiceRabbit We got you bruh ...... it's not like that. You WILL hear the sounds of lots of living machines ...... just like nature intended.
@@stewiepid4385 Ok, that's good news! Thanks

Great video.
Awesome!
That captain seems extremely fun to fly with! Hes vibing too, chewing some gum while flying a 767. 😂😂😂😂
The great Boeing 767!!
good job
"Flying To The Clouds" by Phil Rey. As a muso and pilot, enjoyed the video.
John Carroll
Great! 👍
Very Cool ! 😎👍😊
Nice seeing how the other airli es fly i to my home base tncm.
Nice Crosswind Crab 👍🏾..I Started flying into SXM in DHC6s all the way up to B757s ..Now on the 777 and it’s all boring RNPARs🤣
Seems like a respectable Captain.
Finally I saw the runway and I am glad is very long. I always have the impression that every runway near the ocean is too short and the pilots always have a hard time to land the planes. It makes us nervous. Also I liked the approach...you edited a little bit the touchdown...what is that touch that normally shakes the pilot s? Great video.
Nice video
Seems like a pretty cool skipper.
Nice guys. Canada such nice folk. Howdy from a 23year 17,000 hour USAF Bone Driver. That's the B1B for Bone so you know.
I had to laugh when the pilot was chewing the gum a mile a minute but when it was time to set down the plane, the chewing stopped till wheels were on the ground. hahaha
Exactely :-D (Before touchdown, It was a game for him)
Nice!!!👍
Raddy, hello, this videos, channel is lk great, amazing with this share experiences as professional, pilots with long services, salute you, mr.pilots, thank you this greats videos, channel with professional, knowledge experiences sharing., take care and stay safe, mr.seniors pilots.good luck.
Great video, liked and shared 👍
Thanks very much Jamie😁👍✈️
This captain loves his gum!
A captain chewing gum looks like a bush pilot at work :-)
X X why, he can’t chew gum and fly a 767 at the same time?
X X oh please choking on gum what are you 3 years old? It’s to help with the pressure changes especially in these older aircraft
X X piss off
@X X Agree with you
@X X bruh tf? i know people choke on gum but I mean he looks like he's vibin in that seat. Whats better than chewing on some extra spearmint while flying a 767? 😂😂😂😂😂
Neat!
Nice Landing Sir ! ;)
Good captain
Landing on Islands is the best :)
As long as it's on a runway with your gear down, yes. Possibly.
Super service life piloting
What a greaser! Awesome!
Truth's Knight_0777 😂😂
@@maxgisler6626 I was referring to the landing, so we're clear.
Happy retirement to Jim Adams !!!!! Air Canada and all of the passengers u have flown over the years, I’m sure wish u the same!!!!
You have a choice of runway at St. Maarten. Runway 10/28 or “go around”! Nice video!!
Great video but the music was a spoiler. Best cockpit approach I've ever seen into Saint Maarten. Congratulations captain great job.👍
Very cool. Saw what appeared to be a rainbow too.
scott a • Wasn’t that a great shot?
@@gomphrena-beautifulflower-8043 Spectacular!
That was Anderson Cooper you saw!
What a ancient aircraft
I'm right behind ya'...
Captain is still chewing the cud, and does so right through.
Wooow! 😍😍✈️✈️
I'd fly with this captain any day.
It's great to see Sully flying again.......
Even Air Canada flies newer and larger planes to St Maarten than United! To my knowledge no large plane has ever gone off the end of the runway or come up short on touchdown...that is amazing considering the difficulty of the airport.
As he’s on close final you can see that he’s coming in on fire and flying the shit out of that big Ol bird !! Great Job !!!!
What’s the name of the epic song music ? Thank you. !
Yooooo. Air Canada and st Maarten. What can get any better?
How cool and relaxed, driving a bicycle requires more vigilance 😂😂😂
One day I am going to St. Maarten.
On the 767's GPS, the most likely reason the one in this video doesn't have one is because the aircraft is approaching its retirement age and the carrier doesn't want to spend the money on adding the GPS. The newer 767s, (300 and 400 variants) do have it.
This was filmed in 2009 and this airplane C-FMWU is still flying with Air Canada Rouge.
AC has the best pilots.
AIR CANADA 👍👍👍
This should be a piece of cake.....the RW is over 7,000' long.
The Boeing 767-300 is a fine aircraft and so is its smaller sibling, the 757. Never mind the GPS, I've always wondered why St Marteen's Princess Juliana airport, as busy as it is, doesn't have the means to allow aircraft to exit runway 10 and taxi to the gates via a taxiway instead of the runway itself.
The good captain sure loves his chewing gum.
X X why
@X X 🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡
5:38 captain relaxes and starts chewing again :-)
Guess you can’t land and chew gum at the same time 😂
Has St. Maarten recovered since it was heavily damaged by one of the more recent Hurricane?
Griff Mustard ...the airport is like it never happened....but there are still signs of re invention going on in the city areas....as of 1/23/20...
LOL!saw how intense that landing was when the first officer stopped chewing his gum.great video
Where and when did you see the First Officer ? I could only see the Captain ?!?
@@MrVios2008 you know to whom I was referring to but I guess you're looking for a fight right?
@@bigtone718 so sweet :)
Nat Turner naw just facts
My comment was incorrect, you pointed it out, you must be looking for a fight....LOL hilarious!
Question for any "Heavy" pilot out there, I know when hand flying on landing its human nature to make rapid adjustments on the yoke that the autopilot doesn't but does the plane actually respond to those fast tiny adjustment?
Yes it does ! :) When theres gusts or drafts you must apply those kind of inputs to make sure you stay on the glide path and center line the whole time, and flare correctly and land smoothly
@@maxou5757 Cool. I didnt know it was capable fo reacting quickly to such inputs.
Dominick yup. The 767 responds just as quickly as any small aircraft. I’m new to the 767 and have to remind myself I’m in heavy a lot.
My first impression is there seems to be some over controlling occurring. PIO might be an overstatement, but there sure is a lot of control wheel movement. But I wasn’t there...
@@saxmanb777 I've never flown Large Aircraft but the 757, 767, 777 and 787 seem to be quite responsive. I've heard the 747 is the best of the lot. I imagine Airbus is disappointing as you don't get much feedback from the side stick since the computer does most of the work.
Not GPS Equipped? Will somebody explain to me how &/or why that is. Also, what do they use to navigate for long distances; LORAN-C & INS? Time Warp Here... 🤔
There is few other systems we navigate aircraft with that are not equipped with GPS.
For example:
DME (Distance Measuring equipment)
IRS (inertial reference system)
VORs (VHF omnidirectional radio range)
