How many times do you braid after adding the next piece of hair in? I seen some people braid the real hair 3 times before adding hair and some start off adding hair.

Can I get braids even though I’m not fully black? I’m Aboriginal and have African-American people in my family (related by blood), would it be inappropriate for me to get Knotless braids? My 16th is coming up and I was hoping to get them done.
(I’m very sorry, I’m very unknowledgeable and I can’t ask anyone in my family as that side is mostly in my dads side and I don’t have contact with him.)

Hey, I hope you enjoyed your birthday or that you'll enjoy it if it hasn't come yet. I'm black with two black parents and black grandparents, and I believe that you can get your hair braided if you want. It's your hair, and if you like a certain style, go for it. People who get all bent out of shape about hairstyles need to find something else to do with their lives and stop trying to cause so much division among different groups of people because of hair. I will also add that if you do get your hair braided, make sure you get a style that matches your head and face shape and that you go to someone who knows what they're doing!

Hey sorry if this is offensive if it is you don’t have to answer can you like just wash your braids plainly in the shower or do you have to wear a shower cap sorry if this is a rude question I’m just genuinely curious or can you just like wash it
You can wash them, but you don’t need to wash them often. Most people wear scarves in the shower

I've probably watched 50 videos at this point I'm really trying to learn to do my daughter's box braids at home her stylist doubled the price and mama can't afford that My son's girlfriend learned how to do his twists but I am struggling with after you section put the product in every video obviously the person's hands are over combining the extension with the natural hair so I'm very confused about what you should do at that part I know I sound like an idiot and I am when it comes to this which is shameful since I went to beauty school but they didn't teach us this stuff. So I get sectioning I get the products and the right products to use. It's adding the extension where I have a lot of problems and I know that there are not list ones like this that look much more smooth My daughter currently has the one with knots in it and I really don't like it. I've seen some people use rubber bands If anybody wants to break this down idiot style for me I would greatly appreciate it
