    Definitely would recommend adding more aquatic life such as filter/bottom feeders in your vivarium. Creatures like shrimp, oysters, and snails that’ll help keep the waters clean. Tho if you do that I’d recommend adding more decorations and aquatic plant life, especially grasses, to make the animals feel more comfortable and give them places to graze and hide. If you’re feeling bold enough you could even add a predator to your waters such as a crayfish, but that’s up to you as it might compete with your salamanders if they ever decide to enter the water.

    I have a few questions.
    1) Did you have the whole terarium made out of glass or did you have mesh anywhere?
    2) How did you keep the bugs in if you had to open the terarium for the camera?
    3) What lights do you use? Just normal led lights so you can see or UVB lights?
    4) How big actually is the terarium?
    5)Do you have the terarium inside of your house or outside? If inside in what room?
    Those are all for now. I hope you'll answer. It would really help me build my own. Thank you, amazing video!

    Not sure if anyone has ID'd them for you yet, but the slime molds at the end were chocolate tube slimes (*Stemonitis splendens*). The coco-y powder along the strands formed after the slime dried out (sporangia) are the spores. Very neat to see them forming!

    I think it would be really cool to add maybe any of these;
    Dragonflies, tree frogs, blood worms, shad (small fish), stag beetles, assassin bugs, cicadas, grasshopper/crickets, venus fly traps, preying mantis, stick bugs, land snails/underwater snails, mini catfish for underwater cleanups, if you really wanna get crazy, a freshwater stingray (although that might be too large / wipe out the underwater life).
    I'd keep listing more off but those are the one's I think of off the top of my head.

    • @melon_water

    You should use a pond to separate two different sides of a vivarium. You could contain certain species on either side. Praying mantids are everywhere and are always interesting. Crayfish, shrimp and chameleons too

    I have missed this vivarium SO much, and I’m really happy to see it going strong and healthy. I shall miss Mr. Toad…but he was clearly a little too keen on his job, simply no sense of moderation. Loving the slow worm and the salamanders…their young will be fun to watch happen. Please come back soon with more of your delightful and funny tour guide banter…you were seriously missed, I was getting ready to call out the rescue team. I even feared that you might have fallen prey to the fire ants and the salamanders…possibly in league with the scorpion. You mustn’t worry us like that…stay safe.🖤🇨🇦
