Thank you, Ron. We need more people like you out there.
makes u wonder what he is doing now!!
more actual than ever. when blackout hits ham radio will be very valueable. I did my License recently. When SHTF you should be prepared and many underestimate the importance of comms.
It's Dutch! From Far Cry 5!
Greatest pepper setup ever!
This is a pretty good idea for a commanding-hq when the worlds slowly burning.
Amazing!!
SSB/HF is a blast. Learning Morse now.
im going to become a doomsday prepper
There are many of factors in prepping.
One place I found which succeeds in merging these is the Micaden survive system
(google it if you're interested) definately the most incredible survival resource that I have ever heard of.
look at the interesting free video.
This dude just likes collecting analog machines lets be real
No he actually uses them no one realizes how much is possible with HAM radio and each one of those do something different
This man has been doing this long before he retired. If you don't like to learn, or at least play the what-if game, where it's not "the end of the world" but the end of the world we know, then don't watch. and 0mZ042 you're right, they're just vigilant, and yeah maybe a little bored. ;)
This guy has a PACE plan, but do his neighbors have one? If he, as their "hub" goes down, do they have alternative comms or are they just depending on him?
Whats with the music and commentator? It's making out like his about to run into a 90's superbowl final.
That is wonderful that you have all this knowledge of communication skills. However, the average person knows nothing of this. I agree communication is extremely important, but so is food and water to survive. If World War III starts, then we won’t have to worry about any of this.
Lol I understood this at first, "We actually trained: army, navy, air force, marines, department of defense of civilians, AND EVEN FEMALES."
Hahaha!
Looks like mike from breaking bad jk
While mostly great job, but climate change, really that is your worry. I think I would be thinking somewhat about what a fat target I am under certain circumstances.
« really that is your worry »
Isn't it yours?
SkyKing SkyKing.....
All that, yet if "something" were to happen he'd down right along with the rest of us
Too bad he can’t translate Chinese
Retired military bored with his life...so he recruits his neighbors to play spy mission with him. Wtf
That’s not what HAM is for 😂 look up how many people have an FCC license for HAM radio there’s millions of people that use these for communication still
Doomsday nut jobs are the unsightly scab on the amateur radio hobby. I promise we're not all like this.
Are you really mocking others in the radio community for having an easy way to communicate with rescuers or others in times of emergency? Even more so this is more than just him being a nut job, it’s his job, he’s a contractor
@@militaristicsoldier856 This guy is well beyond "communicate with rescuers."
You should educate yourself on blue ocean event, methane bomb, nuclear war, and global dimming before deciding he is a "nut job."
Based survivalist vs. liberal in denial
@@everythingmatters6308 Well he should have educated HIMSELF on Covid vaccination. He died in 2021.
