Technics RS-B905 Description and Demo

This is a demonstration of the Technics RS-B905 cassette deck which I am listing on ebay here: www.ebay.co.uk/...
This deck is a 3 head unit, with dual closed loop capstans and features Dolby B, Dolby C and dbx noise reduction.

When using dbx levels should be at 8 db on a chrome tape 12 db on a metal tape.it reduces tape hiss by 30 db and extends dynamic range to 110 db.

The dbx and all dolby reduction systems is only for lowering down the noise it doesn't mean when using them that we must record in a very high volume it might be some rec distortion

@@Badassvidsz The DBX system in addition to reducing the noise due to the low speed of the cassette, also compresses to be able to increase the dynamic range when playing back and decoding the recording.
