Thank you for making this video. I am half-Japanese and have hooded eyes. The eyebrows growing down and struggling to create an eye flick really resonates with me. Most tutorials are just not relevant because my eye shape is so different. Also with the trend of using pencil on the inner eye just looks weird because with a lot of asians our inner eye skin folds over and is not a perfect open triangle. I feel seen! 🙌

Gosh! How refreshing to see a truly beautiful yet simple makeup applied in an easy to understand way. Very few of us either young or not so young have such beautiful skin but the technique would be the same for anyone. Thank you. The biggest revelation for me ( and I’m sure I’m in the minority here 🙄) was brushing my eyebrows up before starting to fill them in! For a while now I feel fake with my dark eyebrows because my hair is salt and pepper so I’ll be off to find a softer colour. I truly hate the trend for laminated eyebrows! I agree with you about hooded eyes and eyeliner, I tend not to do the tilted liner because of my hooded eyes. Especially since they tend to turn down. I find it too difficult to do for my shape of eye.

As someone who is more mature and with hooded eyes, it is true that using glitter as the main colour e.g blue or green justs sits in the creases. But using a little glitter as a highlight on the lid is fabulous, as we see here. It depends on the colour and application. Thamks for showing us this Hung.

OMG I have the same hooded eyes! Same uneven hooded eyes. One more hooded than the other, like, one is a monolid and one is not. Can you have Miss Young KIm back or someone else with the same eyes and give tips how to make the eyes look even? That's my constant struggle especially for simple everyday makeup. It's easier if you put more eyeshadow, especially darker ones, but for the simple everyday makeup it's trickier. Don't get me wrong, most of the time it's no big deal for me, I mean, it's my eyes, it's unique to me, but sometimes you just get this thing when you just want them to be symmetrical. Again, love your videos! 💕
