Still think that City has slightly better chances but Real Madrid has more competitive experience in the Champions League and knows how squeeze victories at this level.

Foden was not outstanding at all. He missed an open goal, missed another big chance and lost possession 16 times. He was terrible. Just scored a tap in header

No Kyle walker to match Vinicius so the defence was really shaky Man city had chances to kill the game off scoring at least another 3-4 goal but Real were superb

Crazy game... I am Madrid fan. City play the most attractive football in the world. They had a 2 goal lead 3 times and never stopped attacking. I think both teams will be even better in the second leg, because of players like Walker, Cancelo and Casemiro returning from injuries. Hopefully we find a way to turn it around.

City badly missed Cancelo and Walker tonight. Real were very lucky yet again. If Cancelo and Walker are back next week, I expect City to finish them off.
Don’t underestimate Madrid’s attack. For periods in the 2nd half, every counter for about 10 minutes was threatening. If they play like that for 90 minutes at home, and city squander chances like they did today, they’re in deep water.

Bernardo is the quiet genius in that midfield sometimes even better than De Bruyne. The way he flicked the ball over the Real Madrid midfielders for that missed opportunity by Mahrez (the one he shoots on the top corner) is some Messi level skill.
