as a real silver in matchmaking, i cry everyday. took a 7 year break from cs to come back playing supreme global elite master headshotter kings
I don't know why they hard reset everyone like this. My first ever rank in cs:go was MG, never been this low xd
As someone with less than 500 hours, I'm getting paired with players with thousands of hours, someone I ran into had 5k+
I literally play every game with dmg-global 1500-4000 games, new mm absolutely no sense
My mg2 skill on limit every time i play, its competition for my mental health, not my game

I was nova 4 in csgo mm (~350hrs) and then came back and got SEM, checked csstats and realized all of my opponents were MG/DMG/LEM like wtf (I still top/2nd fragging in 90% of the game anw)
When I won the first 10 matches on Mirage I got silver 3, then I won about 30 matches and nothing, no promotion, but when after this series of wins I lost once, I dropped to silver 2. Now I have 64 won matches and still silver 2... In CS:GO I was balancing between gold 2 and gold 3

I'm 32 now, in my younger days and teen years i played the shit out of CS and was actually pretty good. I tried CS again after not playing for years and was shocked how different it is compared to all modern FPS games. Everyone is some sort of flick shooting god

This is so true I was MG1 in GO but I placed silver in mirage and inferno despite having good stats but I did have some few bad games so I guess that's why I placed in S3 and silver elite

premier mode is the only mode people play that matters. theres no such thing as ranks anymore its all just numbers

it is both smurfing and not smurfing at the same time, it is kind of "Schrödingers cat" theoretical experiment. You are much better than the ranks in your game but still play on your main account...anyone else think of schrödingers cat or maybe it is just me been reading to much physics :)
the paradox would not apply to this situation. It's more a Tower of Babel, or Sodoma and Gomora : )
Fr though the current system is unplayable. While not all of them I think a good chunk of current hackusations are because real silvers are stuck against way better players who don't play enough mm to climb
literally yesterday I ended a challange to get rank on overy map. I was getting 20-30 kills almost every game. my highest rank is silver master elite and I'm pretty sure i have 2 silver 2 and 3 silver 3 which is pretty funny

All they did was rename CSGO because Valve is too lazy to actually make a 3rd game.
My friend that is semi pro literally placed gold nova 1 on his best map with 83% win rate.
I fear for vertigo legit gold novas. Like they are lucky if they can get there again after a year or something when all Faceit 10+ to LE players finally clear the ranks
