901am it is SNOWING HERE ...of course we are at the 3,600 ft level...NE of Oroville, WA
I’m working in Butte MT and we got a “winter weather advisory”….for June 18th
Sunny skies here in Bremerton. That darned zonal flow has us in the Olympic rain shadow! Give us some hope, Michael….we want our fair share of the precip!
Thunder, lightning, and a deluge from HECK just rumbled through here in Edmonds in the last half hour. I haven't seen rain like that in a minute.
When does summer arrive in Longview? On the upside, the blackberries are loving the incremental moisture and all signs point to an utterly massive crop even larger than last years bumper crop!
Has anyone noticed what’s happening. We first moved to the Okanagan Vally in 1978. From 1978 to 2003 we had zero major fires. Here is the kicker, ( and please do not think you will be able to go back in weather records because they have been changed) we had average highs in the mid 20’s to mid 30’s. In that time the hills in the Okanagan which were not irrigated by August were chocolate brown in colour, because of the heat! I noticed that the irrigated areas were green do they stood out. Even though it was extremely warm through early spring to late fall, we had almost zero forest fires, those which started were quickly extinguished, the first major fire was after the year 2000 in Kelowna. There was little wind, and the fruit trees peaches, apricot, cherries were beautiful. They called the Okanagan Vally “The Sunny Oksnagan”. Also they could not make ice wine because to do so it required minus 10 for at least a week in the winter. Today we experience minus 30 and 40 for weeks on end. We do have a beautiful big Doppler radar station up on Silver Star? Is there anyone out there who still retains a memory like myself? This is not a conspiracy it is factual!
@@eoggblaine9725 keep track of your own weather and watch how much it differs. Interesting stuff!
@nohphd You're very fortunate!!! I love blackberries, but live in foothills of Mt Spokane, equals zero blackberries.
I remember when I worked for Gifford Pinchot NF. Happy times, beautiful berries everywhere 😊
It always arrives after July 4th!
July 20🤷🏼♀️ NW meteorological summer has always been after July 4. My first decade in PNW most July 4 were low clouds and spitting rain. The last 3 years that had changed and we’ve had dry springs and very hot. June 24 2021 was the first day of a “heat dome” that lasted 3 days into the 90’s! So I’d rather have those cool wet springs than super hot and dry. I’m frankly afraid what might happen with all these super tall pine trees everywhere. If they dry up and start to die their like huge matchsticks. 🤷🏼♀️I grew up up in California the home of the firestorms and had to be prepared to evacuate on several occasions. We could see the fire and heavy smoke that’s how close it came to our home. We had to have bug out bags and sleep in our clothes with our bags and shoes right beside our beds. We also experienced our first earthquake the Sylmar quake. That was when the VA hospital there partially collapsed. They were evacuating the patients with blankets and through stairwells to safety. I remember our lamp swinging overhead. We hadn’t ever experienced one.
Yelm is very moist and my garden is very happy.
Nothing here in Bremerton. Please send some up our way!
You people to the south may be looking forward to sunny weather, but up here in Canada West, the fire season has started. The rain is very welcome.
We are in Seattle Washington Thanks for giving us our Weather forecast 😀🙌😄

Welcome to June.
Thunderstorms in southwest BC today, I’m loving it I love a good thunderstorm.
Those lows out in fantasy land would be good for grazing in the WV. Thank you for your forecast Michael.
Looks like a dome of dry over the Rogue Valley. Wildflowers are thirsty!
Love your channel and grateful for your daily reports 🎉
Tri-Cities needs a Thunderstorm!!!!❤
Pouring off and on lake Stevens. Thankyou so much Michael 💓
And we've already exceeded the rainfall forecast for LS.
We just had a short rain shower over here in Ford Wa. in Southern Stevens County. Thanks for your reporting, also happy to hear you 🥶❤
We were east of Barton today at an outdoor beer venue. We were seated under covered tables when the thunderstorm hit, at 2:00pm. It lasted about a half hour. Two big bursts of hail. Our Airedale pup was not amused. Current temp 54.3 at 5:20pm. doubt we hit the forecast high of 61. Thanks Michael!
We've had lots of hail here on the North Coast of Oregon, this morning. 🌊
Appreciate your reports. Thx.
Hey Michael! We are at Potlatch camping right now...our eyes on the sky!
So far all we've had is the cold on S Vcr Island lol. Hazy cloud here only, hope we're not going to get shut out!
Thanks! 👍🏻👍🏻
Lexington USA 🇺🇸 gray wet cool
I got a video of a funnel cloud on Sumas prairie between Abbotsford and Chilliwack in BC. I've never seen one here for as long as I've lived.
Cold and wet, got it
I’m here in ritzville, I been thinking this would be a great place to open a kite store 😅
I miss the old days of driving tractor pulling 50’ of weeders with no cab and getting hit with a dust devil, when the temperature is is bouncing in the 100’s it feels like being sandblasted in a furnace, I miss those days. If you can find the bus garage on Wednesday you could probably find me, just look for Don
It been pouring rain here this morning w lt breeze & cooler temperatures. NE of Oroville, WA
Thanks for the update! It's quiet here in Sedro Woolley, overcast, drizzle. We don't tend to get thunder here. But I guess we have to wait for July for our summer, if there is one. 🌺
Let’s hope this summer lasts for no more than one week!
Great forecast as always. Maybe you could add North Idaho into your discussion, just a request. Raining in Sagle Idaho, chilly as well.
Thunderstorms rolling thru here in n. Idaho. Plants love the rain but Not the hail!
There is a video of a funnel cloud floating around from Abbotsford, BC at 3pm today.
Thank you ❤ 😊
Nordland rain on and off. Thank you once again 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Just wind so fayr in tri cities Wa. Sick of the wind
Felt like I was living in Guam here in Kitsap county this morning at 5:00. Total downpour with little to no wind. Rain gutters were at capacity. Love the channel.
That woke me up here in Edmonds a half hour later!
Just started raining in Pacific City OR
WOW HAIL AND CRAZY RAIN
Curtis Hennings is a great source down in Ritzville. Farming his entire life
I'll have to look him up!
🍻
This juneuary is a recent thing was never like that in 60s 70s 80s 90s started around 2010 maybe 2005 no earlier in my experience
I've spent my entire life except for two years since 1968 here, and we get them from time to time. I'll take it over the heat that's baking much of the rest of the USA. I suspect our consistent Summer weather will arrive, just perhaps a little tardy, which also isn't unusual for the PNW, especially on this side of the mountains.
Big news LOL The Olympics is getting rain😂😅
🌩
Hello
👀🖖
So, not a good flying day.
🤔

They were better at putting out fires back then. Now the state does not fund fire lookouts or fire fighting so a small fire becomes huge. Wonder where our tax $ are going? I am a life long resident here .
They didn't change the weather records. How absurd.
Your forcast would be accurate if those jets didn't spray there shit every time theres a chance of lightning. Can't have those pesticide filled trees burning.
