    Travel Agents, you are saying too much and it is hurting your bookings with clients. Let’s talk about it.
    So much of sales is not just saying the right things, but also not saying the wrong things. If you give someone too much information, it can actually make it harder for them to make a decision.
    One of the many things that our members learn in the academy is how to present themselves and how to sell the right bookings to the right clients. Over-explaining your offer, saying too much and confusing your clients. Additionally, and this is a big surprise for me, being overly excited on a call or when someone reaches out to you, can hurt your chance of getting that person as a client
    The most important changes you can make to sign on more clients and get more commissions are to say less, stay neutral, and give your client space to think at the exact right times
    These subtle shifts can be hard to master. We had a member in the academy who spent 5 client hours just working on being quiet at the right time so that her clients could process and make decisions in the moment. Her bookings went up by 50% with the same amount of clients, so it is totally worth it, but it takes work and practice.
