Calm down the hall a fame hasn't been around very long, most people who deserve to be in there will be there. Rich is a pioneer but to cry that he wasnt im there earlier does a disservice to the other legends.
He only officially retired like 2 or 3 years ago. That ain't a long wait.

I watched ufc back in the day but I never got into it until I noticed Franklin. He's got alot of class and respect. Alot of fighters now a day could use some of what he had. And it helped he's from the Nati.

He was a monster. Wicked striking, tough as nails, super athletic. Known for being a nice guy and the hardest worker in the gym. Always a class act.
I started watching in 2008 so I pretty much missed Rich's peak (in terms of Win-Loss record) but from the replays and highlights I saw of him, he always fought with a TON of heart and never made excuses for his loses or shortcomings as a fighter. He also seemingly never turned down a challenge. He had bouts with a long list of the all-time greats. Mad respect for Rich and the way he followed his dream, as well for how he handled himself in victory and defeat. You can just tell he's a good dude. Hats off.

One of my all time favourites one of the reason I started watching this sport. I can remember the Tanner fight like it was yesterday. The Silva fight was one of the saddest times for me. That Chuck moments still gives me goosebumps. LEGEND. Thanks for the memories Rich.

The way Anderson Silva handled Rich Franklin in both of their fights was insane. Rich was at the top of his game, and it just went to show how good Anderson was in his prime.
