This video randomly came up into my recommended and I thought it was just click bait but I really enjoyed this. Like you said instead of just finding a loop you are finding a sound and because of that you have more freedom and creativity. I’m a advid splice user but I am always changing the loop or adding stuff to it because I don’t want to just copy and paste the loop into my beats I want to add my own flair do something to it to make it mine. Thank you!

Nice one. Thanks for the kind words. Yeah I'm just scratching the surface of decent sampler...it's very cool. I'll do an update video if I strike more gold anywhere 😀

I got so excited for you when you said you had a sponsor and then cracked up 😂 you're hilarious, your videos are such a joy to watch, and so helpful. I definitely stumbled into finding free samples on youtube but hadn't thought of patreon, thanks!! and your lofi beats are amazing, not sure if it's at all your interest but I know so many people like to listen to lofi compilations in the background of studying etc and often go to those like 1-10 hour long youtube videos where it just loops, could try doing a channel like that and monetizing, or there's selling them on royalty-free sites like artlist and stuff. Just a thought I had, though I know very little about those things so I echo your words in this video - dont follow any of my advice either 😆
keep making videos, your channel deserves to blow up!!

Thanks....I did try and set up a channel for my lofi tunes (see my failed side hustles video for more on that) and I do have a playlist on Spotify. Might take a collective of musicians to get enough tracks together though 😂 ... open.spotify.com/artist/6teFQhESgENH3D9frRpvU1?si=uhp_ZfjkQgqjBzGzPLl60A

Maybe obvious thing is obvious but eh someone had to say it. and it was you. nothing wrong with that. looked like fun. you might try generating your own original things via AI. that is probably the next evolution of sampling. I was helping out a couple of years ago on such a project when it was "not done yet" however text to audio via diffusion is now a pretty much solved problem, and there is obviously a huge space of possible sounds, more so even than just "a virtual instrument".
Enjoy your day. waves from here

Thanks. Yeah…really it was just an excuse to sign up to these creators and make some tunes 🙂….i just really wanted those powerhouse samples 🙃… AI could be fun though!

Thanks for thr call out to some of my favourite keyboards. I also recommend Alex Ball. While his newer sets require Patreon, he still has loads of classic drum machines and related stuff available for free. If you find an older video of his, you're liable to find the lunk
