I monetize all my tracks with splice samples you just have to generate the lisences for the sounds in the track and submit the lisences when you monetise. i create a pdf with all the lisences and attach it.I use soundcloud and never had a problem

Part of me is happy splice does this.. using samples like this is easy and it lends to people making the exact same art. To me that isn't artistic at all. Sure you make something and get credit so it feels good but you didn't actually make music.

Good thing we're not in the 80s anymore and anyone can buy good instruments a lot cheaper and just learn how to play a bit! That old excuse is long gone... 😂

From what I know Tunecore is pretty awful as a distributer. You may be better off with Distrokid. Also if problems persist, you could try to just recreate the *sound* within those samples. I'm not a lawyer but I'm pretty sure no one can OWN the copyright to just a sound (everything from a finger snap to a super "unique" distorted wacky guitar sound). So if you recreate the sounds, even if they sound practically identical to the sound in the sample it would still be your original work.

Don’t sweat all these people knocking loops, I stayed away from them for 15 years till I realized it was my ego stopping me. My need to be awesome and significant (how pretentious is that?) Good thing is people grow. Keep creating and fuck the big labels tbh.

I never understood why people use samples anyway, just make your own music. You can take any note and make it into any sound you want, why not just create your own samples?

Yeah, bro, not a lot of people know this, but, like, you can't use samples. You can't use presets or any of that, and expect to make money off of them, unless you. get the rights from their owners of that content A lot of people think that they could just. use preset sounds and it'll be all fine and dandy. But no, you actually have to get those cleared. as well in order to use in your work. No, only way around this is to make all your sounds from scratch.

I’ve made songs 100% from splice samples, uploaded through DistroKid and have had zero issues, making money from streams too, etc. sometimes I get my songs blocked on tik tok for copy right issues? But Apple Music and Spotify, etc. all good to go still. Same with Instagram.

This Software was my introduction into DAW / Grooveboxes - i really like how unconventional but still fluent the Workflow is with the PS Controller - later i went to fruity loops, because i also tried running it on PS2 with the bigger mem cards but the Limits are sadly hardcoded into the Software. Thats why i want this just reprogrammed Without the Limits for ps5 or so 😁 -> thats why i went to fruity loops Later it was the closest Match to music2000 Without the Limits

Strange you got this issue, when ldre spell316 CMJ Tabi June Jissel have been using splice melodic and drum percussion loops for years and have amazing careers🤦🏾‍♂️

How were you using the sounds? Did you change the key, tempo and chop the samples? if you do that you will get no problems. As for youtube monetization, you cannot use melody's, chord or vocals as is on content ID because they are non exclusive samples, meaning other people are also using them. But if you use one shots, or generate new sounds in sampler from splice sounds and add your own vocals, you can apply for content ID because your music is now exclusive as all the sounds and melodies are made by you, no loops.

Stop using so many samples, start designing your own sounds and music, and become a unique artist. Anyone can cut and paste loops together. However, that's where you also risk having your music sound like someone else who copies and pastes the same loop into a track and does not re-shape or edit the loop in the first place... Risky & Stressful Business as well...

Hey i tried connecting my audio interface called mackie onyx producer 2-2 but after i connected the jack to jack from my guitar to the interface there is no signal picking up in bandlab.. but there is a signal picking up directly to the audio interface... What do i do.. genuinely confused

I’m using an iPad and scarlet interface to record my guitar but for some reason I believe the iPad mic is recording as well whenever I record so I’m getting all kinds of feedback back and outside noise .Any suggestions?

For Dynamic microphones DO NOT USE PHANTOM POWER!!! youll break your mic by doing that!
