When I was a baby Melody, I listened to this a lot and really liked the live version, I think it's the BTOB Time Concert Live and because Hyunsik was blonde that time HAHAHA. They really are so good.

loving something you didn't love before... that's totally the btob effect and i myself don't have all the words to explain it enough and make sense of how it's possible. you said that about jazz music and blues which reminded me of the amount of ppl claiming ballads arent their cup of tea but when they listened to btob, they LOVED it - as if btob is the only exception for them. i guess their storytelling ability plays a really huge part because they always make you feel things when they sing. it's become their signature and thats why i believe btob isnt just a group anymore - it's a genre.

Our peuni directed this MV and did it in a slow motion shot, this shows another of the many talents of our boys. Their harmonization is extraordinary, even with rap, that's why I love them more.

This is one of my fave. The more I listen to this song, the better it gets. As you said, this song embodies an understated class & elegance, just like BTOB is. It showcases each member's vocal ability, without being showy & overpowering.
Interesting that you said you tend to avoid ballads but you are drawn to theirs. Many people said that too! BTOB's ballads hit differently & people love them.
The best way to listen to this song is with a good set of headphones while chillax-ing on a Sunday afternoon.

👍👍👍so good, right? And I think Peniel really tried to finish this mv in one take. Yes, our Peniel directed this mv and it's the debut song of BTOB-BLUE. And yes, the members never try to overpower or outshine others..they know their strengths and weaknesses, they don't criticize, they just help each other out and most of the times,even make fun of their mistakes. You should see them teaching Ilhoon or Peniel the right notes or creating harmonies in a song or laughing whenever Eunkwang sings with wrong lyrics or simply shaking their heads as Changsub makes his hilarious voice cracks (there are plenty😁) They're not just a group, they're brothers and they always support each other. I'm not sure if you remember but I am one of the people who recommended this and I have a *lot* to say about this. Huhu.
Like, first, one thing I have come to like with BTOB and very evident here is how instruments accompany each voice to emphasize its power. Like here, after Changsub starts the song and Sungaje comes, with Sungjae's voice comes the heavy bass which compliments his already oh-so-emotional voice. It amplifies it and sends the message across.
This might be normal and a musician thing, but I truly only realize this with BTOB. Especially with their rappers. How once Peniel or Ilhoon comes, with them are guitars which will vary from Missing You's acoustic accompaniment to Beautiful Pain's electric guitar. And it amplifies their voice.
I just love that to bits.
Another thing is how this is filmed. Yes, it's a one take! Peniel directed it. I have a thing for takes like this. Huhuhu. It just takes so much more cooperation to execute something like this. The way they're seated like that to just see them sing their heart out. Ugh. I honestly love this music video it's frightening me. Hahaha.
Also, their looks! Especially Changsub, he looks like a prince here. I'm sorry for simping here but gods, I didn't know I needed this Changsub until I watched this MV.
You also got it right, how you feel regret with his voice. How each voice has something to send across. When you said that they don't do anything over the top or very in your face, I guess it could be because aside from their trust on each other is the trust to their listener. Trust that they will receive the emotion, the message, they wanna say. And for that, how could one not appreciate something as soft and special like this?

7.35 OMG! I thought it's only me and I'm kind of exaggerating cause I love them so much. I felt like this with numerous of their songs when I've listened to them for the first time. I don't even know any korean, yet I want to start singing along lol. For me they have nostalgic music, without me ever hearing anything like this before. What even is that?!
