Ilhoon's love for the group comes before himself. Ilhoon left as soon as the issue broke because HE loves his hyungs so much he was scared he was gonna damage their careers. He knew the backlash they would get especially because BTOB 4U is promoting. It is so sad, honestly. To see him leave after all these years... 😭 However, we have to trust his decision on this. What we can do though, is show support to him for whatever his final sentence is, and to wait for his return, send encouraging words while supporting the rest of the members too. Honestly i've been so depressed during his first trial as ChangIlJae were my biases but then I realized that - things have happened and ranting about why he did this is never gonna do anything and never right because we ARE not him, we don't know what he has been through. Please DO NOT HATE HIM OR SAY BAD WORDS ABOUT HIM. He loved us so much, he loved his hyungs so much, if he made you happy, then please respect the moments he did and send him support. If you cannot send support, then as he said in his song 'she's gone' - leave without looking back. Do not hate him.
When youre an older kpoper like me, pot scandals are the least of our worries lol. Thank you Ilhoon for being so brilliant. Waiting for your post-army revival.

YG is different... If you watch the Boys Noize interview with FuseTv from a few years ago where he talks about working with BigBang (on "Feeling"), he immediately mentions how they rolled a joint the moment they arrived in their studios. YG can have weed at their studios, but Cube doesn't have good enough connections to get away with stuff like this. Well, probably none of the other labels have such connections other than YG. If you follow Korean news, people are outraged at the preferential treatment YG gets... If they would be their idols, nothing would have happened, but they're not.
