I made these yesterday. It was so good. It's not too sweet and it's very moist. My mom loved it! Though when I put it in the refrigerator, it hardened. So we decided not to put it there if we're not gonna eat it yet. But other than that, it's delicious! I added marshmallows, cashew nuts and chocolate chips. It's marvelous! The gentle heat from the water is very hot though, and I'm sorry to hear you broke your bowl. You want to use something like a Pyrex brand bowl that will not break. Thanks for watching my video :-)

Diego Laparra Hi Diego, chocolate chips can be found in every store, grocery store, corner store, Wal-mart, etc... they are everywhere. I'd be surprised if any country did not have them somewhere. I am curious where you live, that you don't have these available to you. To answer your question, yes, you can use a chocolate bar, it will give you the same thing, so do not worry about this.

Diego Laparra Hi again, maybe you'll find some, maybe not, however use the same amount of chocolate, if it is chips or not, you will use the same amount. If you are using a chocolate bar, chop it up so the piece are small enough so that you get as much chocolate as the chips. Large chunks of chocolate take up more space in a cup, and there is far more air space.... so there is actually less chocolate... so chop so the pieces are small so you get more of an accurate measurement.

Yusra Majeed I would need to know what 250 reading that is, is it degrees F or degrees C ? this makes a huge difference. Please also post a picture of your oven on my Facebook page so I can help you more. I have never seen a Sanyo oven and I have a feeling you may not be located in North America. I know some ovens have different modes available to them for the way the oven operates ( the heating elements inside the oven )
I was really excited and cant wait till weekend to come to do this... so, I did it today and it was awesome and everybody loves it and even requested to make it again tomorrow because it was almost finished.. first time I made brownies and im really happy of the result... the only difference is I don't have a square 9x9 baking pan so I used a round one and just cut the brownies in squares when it was done... it melts in your mouth... and just to add on this after 35 mins. of baking I was worried that it was not still baked thoroughly, because after inserting a toothpick in the middle, it didn't came out clear so I extended for a bit more mins. like 15 mins. more till the toothpick came out clear... and the brownies isn't dry and still moist and chewy... until one friend of mine told me not to worry if after 35 mins and u inserted a toothpick in the middle, and its not clear because it is how it is supposed to be and it just mean that the brownies is not dry.... but still, its better to check it so it will not be overdone or not evenly cook... thanks a lot for this great recipe! greeting from Dubai

just for some helpful info... I was also thinking why just plain flour (all purpose flour) and no baking powder or soda to help the brownies to rise... its because when making brownies we don't need a rising agent and it shouldn't... to keep it moist and chewy

Hi Delilah, holy cow, $60 for brownies ? ... how large ? 9 x 9 inches ? .... they must be painted with gold to be that price :-P Even at the bakery you'll pay about $12 for something like that. Maybe you order 20 pounds of them at a time and that is why the cost is so high LOL. I'm glad that you found my video, thank you for watching, I have so many recipes online here, over 500. Heyy x need to ask , do you think k u could use nesquik instead of cocoa powder , and then add less sugar ?Because in my case that would be what I have to hand x
Aimee Gates Hi Aimée, yes you could use that in a pinch. That powder is much less powerful than cocoa powder, but it can work.
You could use nesquick but it won’t taste as good as Good chocolate

Hi turba tahir, you can use any type of chocolate you have, that could be a chocolate bar, - milk chocolate is ok, semi-sweet, dark chocolate, anything you can find would work ok. I hope this help, and thank you for your kind words :-)

The upper layer of my brownies get hard so that it looks like wood. Secondly, i have sanyo oven which has 250° not as u say so what can i do ?
Yusra Majeed I would need to know what 250 reading that is, is it degrees F or degrees C ? this makes a huge difference. Please also post a picture of your oven on my Facebook page so I can help you more. I have never seen a Sanyo oven and I have a feeling you may not be located in North America. I know some ovens have different modes available to them for the way the oven operates ( the heating elements inside the oven )

I was really excited and cant wait till weekend to come to do this... so, I did it today and it was awesome and everybody loves it and even requested to make it again tomorrow because it was almost finished.. first time I made brownies and im really happy of the result... the only difference is I don't have a square 9x9 baking pan so I used a round one and just cut the brownies in squares when it was done... it melts in your mouth... and just to add on this after 35 mins. of baking I was worried that it was not still baked thoroughly, because after inserting a toothpick in the middle, it didn't came out clear so I extended for a bit more mins. like 15 mins. more till the toothpick came out clear... and the brownies isn't dry and still moist and chewy... until one friend of mine told me not to worry if after 35 mins and u inserted a toothpick in the middle, and its not clear because it is how it is supposed to be and it just mean that the brownies is not dry.... but still, its better to check it so it will not be overdone or not evenly cook... thanks a lot for this great recipe! greeting from Dubai

just for some helpful info... I was also thinking why just plain flour (all purpose flour) and no baking powder or soda to help the brownies to rise... its because when making brownies we don't need a rising agent and it shouldn't... to keep it moist and chewy

I gave your brownie recipe a try because I was tired of paying $60.00 online for brownies. I LOVE brownies!! Well, this recipe is fantastic. The taste and texture is just out of this world. Hi Delilah, holy cow, $60 for brownies ? ... how large ? 9 x 9 inches ? .... they must be painted with gold to be that price :-P Even at the bakery you'll pay about $12 for something like that. Maybe you order 20 pounds of them at a time and that is why the cost is so high LOL. I'm glad that you found my video, thank you for watching, I have so many recipes online here, over 500. If I can do it, you can do. Never doubt yourself. I promise, if you see a video of mine, what you see is what you will make at home. I never cut out a step because I want the viewer to get the full experience. I hope you try more recipe, and am very happy to hear of your story, so nice ! :-)
