  • Overview and demo with simple medical hearing device recently presented at INCOSE Health Care Working Group Oct 2021.
    We covered:
why SE and MBSE is important,
MBSE with SysML, system model simulation for validation - use case simulation,
simulation for verification and requirements compliance.
what's is coming in next release - require verification table, advance requirements natural language parsing, and more.

@@MBSEExecution Yeah, we're a group of systems engineers who have been working primarily in the SysML DoD space for 4-6 years. We've watched A LOT of your videos over the years off various CZcams accounts!
We have joined up to provide consulting services to companies who need training and direction with the tool's capabilities and modeling direction.

Thank you for posting the learning materials about MBSE and SysML modeling and simulation, great helps for people working or learning about MBSE just like me. I am currently using Modelica as the simulation tool in my MBSE practice, so I was wondering what is the difference between SysML sumilation and Modelica Simulation, dose SysML simulation has the same power of solving DAE systems? Also, which one do you think is more practical in real world MBSE, export SysML to Modelica or using the FMU that generated from Modelica models? Thank you in ahead for your time!!

Thank you Guan for the feedback. SysML and Modelica are different purpose languages. SysML is for system architecture definition, problem space and solution space. Modelica is for multidisciplinary system analysis and design. SysML simulation is used for some analysis and for proving that system architecture will work, demonstrate it, do requirements verification and validation. As regarding to combination of both it is perfect method to use them. You can export SysML and continue with design in Modelica or you can reuse Modelica models as FMUs in SysML for analysis in the loop, design in the loop for system v&v.

Hello, great content! thank you for that! i took part in the simulation training at the Symposium in Göteborg (which was also very helpful and well done). My question is, what other ways are there to learn how to do simulations? currently i am watching YT Videos, i check out the example models and i read the documentation of MagicModelAnalyst. Do you have some ideas? as far as i know there hasn't been a book published yet, right?

Thank you Sebastian! There is one more great youtobe channel czcams.com/channels/Dx3jAv9z_fGYBf6QF7ZBUg.html MBSE Insight. Also there is tutorial in documentation. Also we do have live 5 days training, but it is for team of people. BTW Dr Bruce Douglas Agile MBSE Cookbook new version will have SysML simulation section (one from five sections). Very good book!
