Champion returns to Swindon - The English Riviera Airshow - D1015 "Western Champion" - 01/06/2024

Saturday the 1st of June saw D1015 "Western Champion" return to it's birthplace at Swindon with one of it's mainline outings, this time with Pathfinders, "The English Riviera Airshow" railtour from Tame Bridge Parkway to Paignton for the Torbay Airshow. For the tour the Western was disguised as long lost class mate No. D1011 "Western Thunderer", albeit this only being on one side.
