I really feel for him, I have eczema on my face (cheeks, around my lips, and eyes), my arms, my neck, and behind my knees. Although my condition is not as severe as his, I can sympathize greatly. If my current state bothers me as much as it is, I can only imagine how he feels. I really hope that he finds something that works for him in the long run, so he can be happy and healthy!

I had skin problems my entire life. Eczema, acne, psoriasis. as well as constant migraines. It wasn't until I was 23 and went to Army basic training that I made the connection between diet and my skin. I grew up preferring sugary and fried foods. When in basic, we were fed a very bland diet and weren't allowed sodas or desserts. Within several days, I didn't have a single migraine and my skin cleared up completely, even while dirty and sweating all day.

I kept putting Equate Triple Antibiotic Ointment on my eczema and by the second day the terrible itching was gone and the flakiness scabbed up and practically fell off. Its been almost a week and it looks gone but soap irritated it and made it start to flare up again so I just keep putting this triple antibiotic on it and its calming down again. I need to switch all my soaps and washes I guess. I saw on utube that Black African Soap works for eczema. I also saw on utube that Castor Oil rubbed on cured eczema along with apple cider Vinager oral supplements.

it starts of with a tiny itch, maybe because you forgot to apply lotion after showering, then it turns into full blown eczema, to the point your entire body is in flame, then you apply lotion old skin flaking away might happen and everything goes back to normal.

Thankfully, mine go away in about a week with treatment, but something I notice is Ill scratch an area for 30 secs and BOOM bumps everywhere!!!! It's like they're activated from scratching, no joke! I had a breakout a week ago and it's almost gone, but seriously it's probably one of the worst skin conditions that runs in my dads side of the family.

The worst is when you're wearing long jeans that get soaked, the next day you'll break out everywhere. Some laundry detergents are really awful for me as well. Some will make my entire body break out if I wash my clothes in them and soaps for bathing do that too. You've got to be pretty aware of what you're sensitive to if you got eczema, it does suck but honestly there's a lot of people with way worse skin condition so in comparison to them it's not that bad.

My son had severe eczema when he was younger. It was so bad at one point his hair was falling out, he was running a fever, the backs of his legs were purple and skin was peeling like this poor guy’s. Derm decided to biopsy his skin, he had a Mersa infection. He was put on the right antibiotics and got it manageable again. I’ve tried many things over the years to help is eczema. Many different steroids, topical and oral. Diet change, wet skin wraps, clothes designed for eczema, bleach baths and allergy shots. What has worked best for my son is when he stopped the steroids. He keeps his skin well moisturized with a good barrier lotion. If he sees a flare coming up he does a bleach back to reduce the bacteria on the skin. The number 1 thing we did that made the most difference was get him allergy shots for about 2yrs. That had him the most clear we have ever seen.

Had to deal with eczema for years. From birth all the way up to around 7. Had it on my shins, toes, head, neck, back, fingers and even on my crotch. Itching was non stop and scratching literally felt amazing although horrible. Ended up getting something called hylera prescribed by my dermatologist which removed the problem instantly. It had a cold burning feeling when putting it on comparable to peroxide and after that the skin peeled off and was left smooth. I can't find anything about it on the internet or anyone who has ever heard of it besides my parents or sisters but I used this stuff just a few times and I haven't had any problems since. That was over 10 years ago. I had prescriptions to get five one gallon bottles of this stuff which was suppose to last until I was 18 but I have not a single clue what happened to that. I wish I could still find this stuff in case I have a flair up but so far it has literally cured my problem.

I have had eczema on my face, neck, and arms my entire life. I at one point even had it on my eyelid to the point where my parents had to hold a warm towel over my eyes when I woke up to help soften the skin so I could open them. I still have it really bad on the back of my neck, but most don’t notice it because I have long hair that I usually wear down.

My hair use to get stuck to the tried blood on my face and ears every morning and my parents use to use warm water to peel it off. I know its hard but put your hair up every chance you get and change your shampoo. You can get an over the counter steroid cream (ask pharmacist and say its for face area) very low dose and use it around that area., or try a a hypo emollient balm like avene (brand) that helped my ears after about a week, plus it really moisturizes. But seriously keep your hair out of contact with your skin at least for now, I know its embarrassing, to have ppl see it.

I have facial eczema, and here are some things that could help if any of you have it.
Take a break from dairy. In my personal experience, eating too much dairy flares up my eczema.
    Drink lots of water
Use extra virgin olive oil on your face every night and morning.
Take warm showers. No longer than 15 minutes.
Clean your face with warm water every night.
    Use a gentle baby lotion..
Those are some things that really help my eczema.

Ya, this could be a case of Topical Steroid Addiction. The chronic use of steroids can create a dependence and extreme form of eczema. The treatment is to stop the steroids cold turkey, and then suffer through the withdrawal, which is quite brutal. After months or years, his skin will heal and return to normal. Also, he should avoid triggers; his skin's resilience is shot, so he needs to be mindful of any irritant, even perhaps sunlight.

Some psoriasis channels are just picking but Huy Ngo does a nice job chatting and encouraging other psoriasis sufferers, and systematically tries out all kinds of "home cures". But what's strange is I've had intervals of times in my life where it would go away for 6-7 years without a trace of it. But when it comes back it's full force. I'm in my 60's now and having a time with it on my legs and face. Full force. I've moved a lot and found that older homes that I have lived in with more dust or mold in it might be the culprit. I run air filters that have seemed to work before tremendously. Where I currently reside the filters don't seem to have that much effect on helping the problem. It's a very hard disease to pinpoint someones personal eczema causes. I've also been to dermatologist and allergist all my life. Most, a waste of money.

Jesus said in the Bible that there are some people with diseases who will not be cured because God has a specific purpose for them that required them to be ill. Sometimes it's a spiritual issue, but other times it's physical, and we can take comfort in knowing that we will have perfect, disease free "heavenly bodies" in the next life. This life will just seem like it was a dream. That's why I'm not too upset with my health issues, especially since I have prayed, repented, changed my diet, and still not healed. There must be a reason for my illness at the moment, so all I can do is push past it as much as possible and still try to carry out my purpose on this earth, which is to love others and respectfully spread the Good News.

I wash my pillows and quilt regularly. I do not sit on the sofa with my pyjamas on and then get into bed. No ! It transfers dustmites into your bed. Also, do not walk on the floor with socks on and then get into bed. You might as well wear dusters on your feet. ALWAYS have a shower and wash your hair before getting into bed. I used to wake every night with weeping itchy eczema, so much that I could not go on, I was so depressed. Keep Dustmites out of your bedroom! It's hard work but worth it!
