Hunza, Pakistan ➖When I heard about a luxury hotel on the edge of Attabad Lake's scenery, I knew I had to visit. After checking online, I saw some pretty classy rooms available. Initially, I tried to book the President's Suite for over $350, but unfortunately, it was unavailable. So I went for the 2nd best option for $270.
Upon arrival, I was stunned at the incredible views that this hotel has to offer. Snowcapped mountains, blue water and a crisp breeze roaming through the air and gently hitting your skin.
Long story short, I ate dinner, went for a swim, slept, ate breakfast, and checked out. Was it worth it? Let's find out!

My message to All the people complaining about the 270$.. They should keep in mind that construction and supply of goods to hunza isn't easy... Imagine good coming all the way from Karachi or lahore or islamabad to hunza adds alot of expense .... Why i am mentioning karachi because i being an engineer can see alot of imported stuff used in construction, decoration and etc
And don't forget the value of the property and taxes..

You are absolutely wrong. They are charging unnecessarily high . construction is cheaper there because stones and woods are cheapest here than the rest of the country. These are at least 4 times cheaper and labour too is cheaper. The packed edibles are extremely cheap as they are always a smuggled product.

at that time this hotel was not fully completed but now its all almost all construction is completed and its more beautiful.
This place has improved a lot since you visited .. I was there 2 weeks ago.. now they have best food in whole hunza .. hands down and they have loads of options

I hope that the tourists from other parts of the country learn to maintain cleanliness and hygiene and do not spoil it like Murree and Galiyat. From a Pakistani living in Switzerland, this is a very fair cost for such a beautiful place. Here in Switzerland, they charge you hundreds of francs for a place which is hardly a proper room. And the scenery and elevation is of course not as beautiful as the one around Attabad lake.
But you also needs to realise Pakistan is an emerging touring destination. View is excellent but facilities in the hotel weren't worth 270$, that too when the place is under construction. Prices should be affordable atleast for the time being until foreigners start visiting Pakistan frequently. Or they should build something worth the price they are charging.

People don't hesitate while planning a trip to Switzerland but they do while touring Pakistan. As I said, until foreigners start touring Pakistan frequently we should keep our prices affordable so that more and more people consider visiting these places. Or build something luxurious which should be worth the price, charging people this much just for natural beauty isn't good. For 1 day, it looks good but what if someone wants to stay here for a longer period, it would be too much.
Pakistan has other risk factors (like terrorism ) that Switzerland does not have. So Pakistan will not have international tourists as Switzerland has - which justifies Pakistan being cheaper.
@@abdullah9892 Pakistan has a lot of population and there are very few nice hotels at such places. Foreign tourists rarely visit so they don't even rely on them. Even at this price, the hotel is mostly occupied and if they decrease price even further the demand would far exceed the available capacity. Its a matter of demand and supply, there's no such thing as standardisation in pakistan which looks at the amount spent to facilities offered
