REMOVING AND EVALUATING THE 1968 COUGAR CONSOLE. DISCUSSING NEEDED REPAIRS. Unfortunately we was not able to film the restoration process and the vehicle sold as we finished up the installation. Hopefully it helps some fellow Cougar owners out there. Thanks for watching.

Will that fit into a 67 Cougar? I have a 67 and I have alot of 68 parts. The middle console and the dashpad come from the 68.

We're not Cougar experts but I believe the console would interchange between 67 and 68. Good luck on your project. Thanks for watching. 👍

Maybe the glue was used as an insulator to stop the parts from moving so they don't squeak or rattle.

That's a very good possibility. It could have been a factory thing. I'd be curious to see if other Cougar/Mustang consoles had the same. Thanks for watching. 👍
