- We all want season 2 with the same cast and team. I wonder what we, international fans can do to help?
This adaptation really touched my heart and soul. What I felt when I read the books, I felt it while watching Ultimate Note - all the tragedy that surrounds their lives, the bond between the Iron Triangle.
One of my most favorite scenes is when Wi Xie told Pangzi he'll bring him out alive and cried- Shunxi's acting is brilliant, all his emotional scenes take my breath away.
When I started editing this clip I thought of making a pingxie video, but ended up including Pangzi. He is the most loyal friend, he is willing to sacrifice his life for Wu Xie and Xiao Ge. The three of them are home to each other, one family.
Also I would like to mention how incredible all the other actors played their roles too- Panzi, uncle Erbai, Ah Ning, Wen Jin, grandma Huo, Xiu Xiu, and of course HeiHua.
Panzi made me cry several times - when he told Wu Xie: "I'll keep you safe as long as I'm with you." and when he told Pangzi about how he plans to live his old days with Wu Sanxing. Watching these scenes was heartbreaking. Now let's talk about Uncle Erbai - isn't he the most badass character in the show! He speaks so calm yet he has this life-threatening aura around him. I probably watched more than ten times his scene with Cox Hendry. That was one memorable scene.
He said " You don't have the right to request a cooperation. If you create trouble for me, I'll sink your entire team into the river. I'll grant you guys immortality." and then " Who gave you the right to speak? If you speak another word, I'll sew your lips together" and how he spilled the tea. This whole scene is a masterpiece!
Everytime HeiHua appear on screen my heart flutters, I enjoy their interactions immensely.
I never thought I'd fall in love with secondary characters, but I love them all.
On another note, sorry for the bad sound, my computer is in a really bad condition. When I edit there are constant glitches, the scenes froze and don't move, I can barely see what I'm actually editing. The audio was not so high on the voice-overs.... after posting it I realized the sound is so bad... it's kinda uncomfortable to watch.

I loved him the most in the drama. He is so cute with them. I felt so sorry for him, he was dragged along with them everywhere, they wanted to help him. He was always in his own little world, never said too much, he was always drifting far away in his thoughts.😥 I so wanted to cuddle him 🤗

Out of all "the grave robbers" seasons this is the best 😍.... Their Chemistery together is just 😍😍

Agree. For reboot had the best actors in there but its lack his 'kick' interm of potraying the iron triangle brotherhood its not deep enough especially with pingxie moment.

Reboot and UN and first LT better then currently aired LT. the most not match iron triangle and the portrayed of WX and ZQL character.

lol it's probably not gonna happen. big conflicts between the author of the series and and production group of this drama, i doubt the author will sell authorization to the company of this drama again

We r far from it. This the best adaptation of this series so far. The main actors especially xiaoge he put the high standard for this role. If there is a season 2, i'm pray hard that they will maintain the same cast.

Agreed! But a group in in for this very thing said the author won’t release the rights to the rest of the story for this show (book 5?) I think it was.

It’s funny how nanpai entertainment couldn’t make the series as good as ultimate note when reboot was literally produced by nanpai san shu. We can literally feel the love and devotion from ultimate note’s casts and producers. I really wish that they can make ultimate note 2 that adapt book 8&9 with the same people that made this masterpiece came to life.

I share the same thought as you, of all casts that has portrayed for the characters in this series adaption so far, UN casts is all the best one. They bring out vibe exactly what we feel from the book. Beautifully portrayed & they already made me warm up with them since first few episodes. I laugh & I cried with them for every event they encountered, & last two episodes really made me bawling. UN has ended but I have yet wanted to let them go like I did to the other series. Let's all hope the same casts will stay & reprise their role for the 2nd part. Reunion can why UN cannot right? 😭

Best adaptation of the Daomu Biji books. Love everything about this drama. The only thing I didn't like is that it ended too soon 😭💜

Okay so i've finished lost tomb 1.. And progressing with lost tomb 2.. I must say, the personality of the character is very different in every drama. I thought it is based on the same book series. But there are scenes from lost tomb 1 that are similar to some scene in UN.. And also the characters having different faces each time is not so confusing anymore however makes the storyline very muddy at least for me.. So please, if anyone is gonna make the next series please consider keeping the cast. I think this casts have most chemistry..
It's cuz the Lost Tomb 1 mixed in so many plots from their later ch. Same thing with Lost Tomb 2 and the 3rd one. Only UN covered the ch(s) that happened in the novel(s). UN is the closest in accuracy.

Has there been a sequel to Ultimate Note? I miss Wuxie and Zhang Qiling so much. I just thought that this drama could have used a better script and storyline. I forgo all that for the chance of watching them till the last episode only to be surprised by the 'unexpected ending. They didnt disappoint, in fact they were remarkable. The storyline did.

I'm confusedddd. Can I know what is the difference between ultimate note the iron triangle and the reboot version (with zhu yilong as the actor) is it a sequel with different cast? A continuation or is it a totally independent of the reboot version? I mean the character's name is the same.
They are same characters from different books by Nanpai Sanshu： Ultimate Note is based on Daomu Biji (4-7)；Tomb of the Sea is the sequel novel talking abt what happened ten yrs later, followed by REBOOT(latest story). Accordingly, you might find the difference of main characters' personalities.

Yes this is adaptation from novel. But actually this novel is not bl so yah. It's just their friendship is more than friends. This novel is not just about them two. They have one more friend, Pangzi. This story is about 3 of them.
The novel is "The Grave Robbers Chronicles" by Xu Lei, translated by Kathy Mok. You can find it at Amazon. I bought it there.
The author of the novel have said that its up to our imagination that they are lovers or just best friends

It's okay if you don't watch other series but maybe you will not understand some plot. If you are curious about how Wu xie and Xiao ge first meet, you can watch The lost tomb 1. There is no romance(girl) between them so it's safe HAHAHA.
There sorta is bromance between them in alll the seasons (except mystic nine and i guess tomb of the sea) but in my opnion reunion and this have the best chemistry(bromance)
Tbh I don't suggest you doing that. I mean it helps you to understand if you want to. But many book fans don't like other adaptations except for this one since other adaptations are constantly out making roles out of characters. If you really want to know more, I might recommend the series the Tomb of the Sea. That one is not perfect but has Xiaoyuliang playing xiaoge. And Qinhao who plays older Wuxie is pretty awesome in acting.
If you want to watch it in order than do it chronologically from _The Mystic Nine, The Mystic Nine Side Stories, The Lost Tomb, The Lost Tomb 2, The Lost Tomb 2: Heavenly Palace on the Clouds, The Lost Tomb 3: Ultimate Note (perhaps s2 might come ;), Tibetan Sea Flower, Tomb of the Sea/Sha hai, Tomb of the Sea Side Stories, and finally The Lost Tomb Reboot: Reunion, The Sound of the Providence S1 and 2. Time Riders is a spinoff movie._

Because every time new lost tomb be released a new casts will be in it.. You can try watching the lost tomb 1, 2 and reboot.. The iron triangle will always new casts..
Honestly, it be great if the same cast can be in a remake of the Lost Tomb 1, 2 Explore the Note, and 2 Heavenly Palace. Just cuz the storylines for those 3 are muddy and to have a cohesive, adapted plot with recognizable characters.
