Pier that’s were they piled the rubble from when they built the pier if you fish the X braces that’s where the grouper hang , they key is after ya hook em ya gotta keep ‘em out of the rocks , I gotta secret but I’ll tell ya when I see ya 👍🏼

Man, all I ever catch is small bait fish. How the heck does he know there are " bonitas" there?? And my line will just sit there for an hour with those greenbacks. I love skyway, but I wish i can catch like that.

I went to the north skyway may 4th stayed from 8 am - 3 pm biggest thing I caught was the thread fins I got with my cast net

Was it last week, Monday and Tuesday? I've been on Friday (last week), exactly the same spot - no macs, bonito or juvenile kings. It looks like you caught all of them!

Where you getting the live bait at the bait shop on the bridge or getting it with a net on the bridge?
Cast net plenty of bait around the pier😀💪
Thanks been following your channel amazing keep up the good work im from Lakeland went there about 3 weeks ago unprepared lol bought the shrimps from the baits hop and after 4 hours leltting the fishes eat all day decided to try a smaller hook and bingo the small fishes were eating it all i need to fish with live bait already got a net, hopefully next time ill have better luck hope to see you there one day too good luck and keep posting🫡

SKYWAY HAS NEW RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR FISHERMAN, AS WELL AS THE 4 DOLLAR CAR FEE AND HEAD FEE PER PERSON, PROBABLY RAISED PRICE BY NOW, NOT WORTH IT IF YOU ASK ME
People travel 100s of miles to fish here and your complaining bout a minimum fee that I’m sure goes to cleaning and maintenance cmon brother

Not at all this is not Bonito,this is Skipjack tuna, big difference is Bonito meat fully white but tuna meat fully red!
Not a skip jack tuna. These are called false albacore, little tunny and also here in Florida we call them bonita.
