Na. I think he had something going on with one of the girls or Mrs Obama and got his ass killed over it. You don’t spend that much time with people of the opposite sex without feelings developing. How you choose to deal with those feelings can make the difference in life or death. You don’t mess with another man’s family who’s done good by you without him feeling betrayed. So many unanswered questions:
1. Since this was a pond, it is assumed that the water was calm and that weather or wave action was not to blame.
2. If he was reportedly "struggling" on the surface, this would imply that he didn't know how to swim. How else would one end up in a pond and be "struggling" on the surface?
3. If the above is true, why would someone even go paddle boarding, especially without a life jacket? This sport requires you to be in the water part of the time, not just on the board 100% of the time. Usually, jumping off the board on purpose to cool off and swim is part of a typical SUP session.
4. Assumption is also made that his presence was known in advance at the location, since he probably had to have permission to be there.
5. How else would one end up at the bottom of a pond if the conditions and/or lack of swimming skills are NOT to blame?
Its obvious he was murdered. Id bet my life savings that he saw something he wasn't supposed to see. Big Michael out of the showers perhaps?

Instead of preparing their meal, dessert or evening snack he goes paddle boarding? The guy who can’t swim good decides to go swimming and drowns.
