Free Range FPV with the Demibot - Hero 11 Mini 10-bit 4k

- Got some FPV flights in with my build of the Demibot frame on my last trip into the mountains. Along with a new Hero 11 mini, this super stiff 5.5" frame gets beautifully crisp GoPro footage thanks to the blackbox looking almost blank as far as vibrations go. Of course I realize this is a freestyle frame, and I've flown plenty of freestyle with it, but this video is about relaxing and enjoying a beautiful location.

This footage is insane considering the heavy frame and no gps. Really shows that you can push the gear you have to its limits

Gotta admit, I never considered exploring with the Demibot.
It's a bit heavy but also great with vibrations which gives it some real nice GoPro footage. Also fits 5.5" props which help out flight time quite a bit over using 5" props.
@@FalconRadFPV I've been rolling a variety of props on mine. Gemfan Fash 5552, HQ Durable 5.5, and a number of 5 inchers.

My camera angle is about 26 or 27 degrees for most flights.

did you add the waterfall sound? or did you manage to filter out the drone prop sound?

Hows your experience so far with dji for long range? im kinda debating going from dji to analog for long range because of the variable latency (dji frame freeze/stutters when video signal drops). I'm on the vista atm but heard the o3 is better with that and will give it a try, but still kind of skeptical of the two way system. Doesnt inspire a lot of confidence in me to take risky lines near trees or mountains where my video signal could drop and freeze
Your worries are the same as mine. I've been doing flights with an analog build to learn the line of sight and then once I'm comfortable that I've memorized a route that keeps good line of sight then I'll give it a try with the digital build. But ya, the freezing screen thing scares me still.
@@FalconRadFPV ah gotcha. i ended up buying hdzero goggles with the analog module. gonna switch to one of them for long range. i don’t trust dji with long range with the freezing, i rather get a little less range and penetration but instant feedback when my video signal drops
Hi bro. for the 5.5inc quad, may i know what is the motor kv?
I'm using 1900kv but I have a throttle limit of about 90%. I'm finding the Gemfan 5536 draw too many amps with the higher kv motors and I'm finding that 5.1" props are powerful enough with the higher motor KV.

@@FalconRadFPV hey, I can't think of a better person to ask. I just got a chimera7 pro v2 and was wondering what is the best 2.4 elrs rx to get for the longest range. I got the one that's bnf dji, so I can put my own rx in. Was thinking abt a true diversity super d or similar. Any suggestions?
