  • Is it a cancer cluster or a coincidence? Al Lupiano, a Colonia High School graduate is on a mission to answer that question after discovering more than 80 fellow graduates from the Woodbridge Township school developed the same rare brain tumor and graduated between the years 1975 to 1995. Lupiano believes there’s a link between Colonia High and the dozens of brain cancer cases.

Hi Rebecca, I have recently been diagnosed with brain cancer "anaplastic astrocytoma" and I have been working in AGRICULTURE working on soil, fertilizers and laboratory chemicals. It's high time for the government to fund the investigation and find a cure for this. There has been very little investment to develop drugs and cure/treat this cancer . It is a terminal disease and no one has an answer to it

Omid, I am incredibly sorry to hear about your diagnosis. You are right there is little investigation. AGRICULTURE has something to do w your diagnosis. Both you and my dad working w fertilizers and have rare cancer is not a coincidence. Call me crazy but after doing my own desperate daughter research I believe they DO have cures but there is too much money to be made by them to save innocent lives. Don’t loose hope! Eat as clean as possible.

Hi Al, something to think about - New Jersey had multiple businesses that had people painting watch hands and dials with that ridiculously radioactive stuff that would glow in the dark. That is why cancer registry work and cancer registrar work is important. Look at Camp Lejeune and how long it took before they discovered that the dry cleaning water on base caused male breast cancers. Also, look at 9/11 and how long it took for people with cancers developed. Also, Waterford, Connecticut power plant caused the townspeople who swam there to develop cancers.

Heavy metals stay in the soil if they were processing uranium for the first nuclear weapon I'm sure there's massive contamination of the ground soil and aquifers they don't test for chemical agents or biological agents they add fluoride and bleach and pump it to your shower head to your faucets the largest organ in the human body is the skin if you're showering in contaminated water drinking it you're slowly dosing yourself the amounts might be miniscule but they will build and store themselves in the body until it affects and breaks the DNA chain and forms cancer if you want to get to the bottom of this you need to start at the medical examiner's office and start pulling files and death certificates you need to Mark the locations of the cancers compare them to known sites that were used for the Manhattan projects and compare them to water charts to see where the aquifers flow I live in Connecticut I grew up in Bridgeport we are part of the super fund as well I believe this is just like Love canal New York... How far are you away from plum Island operation paper clip after world war II we brought over Nazi scientists and put them on that island they were infecting ticks with plague that they were going to load into a bomb and detonate over a city releasing the ticks which will find humans and infect them the problem is the birds and Lyme Connecticut fly to that Island to have a snack I mean hey if you're living on the coast and I was a bird I think I'd have lunch on the beach every day unfortunately that Island happened to be a bio weapons research facility and then an animal research facility in the 90s they had a release of hoof and mouth they were out there with flamethrowers burning all the livestock out of the corrals to prevent spread to the mainland you still can't go anywhere near that if you want answers I will do the best to help and I know where to start

Many years ago, I read a good book entitled 'Toms River', author Dan Fagin. It covered a similar incident of what most people would label a cancer cluster, however, following a 20 year investigation authorities would not make that designation. Still, book provides a great deal of info on what is required to make such a designation and the emotional stress of dealing with such a situation.

How is the ground contaminated if it was built on virgin land in the 60's. I can't see how they would drive soil over a half hour to build a school where the wealthy were living. I'm sure they would of had insider information if that was the case. There are many variables like where you were born, where you grew up, diet and genetics to the equation. If you were to point a finger at something specific then chances are your family knows about corrupted construction.

Hi there. Al and his wife have an Acoustic Neuroma/Vestibular schwannoma. It is caused by a defect in chromosome 22 when they're in Utero still. While I applaud them for looking into it more, theirs is a BENIGN tumor that is caused by that chromosome. Do some homework before you post things. How do I know? Mine was 6cm. I too looked for answers and they ALL led back to that chromosome. I have had surgery, then radiation for regrowth. This coming out claiming it's cancer scared friends of mine who thought I had cancer because I have 2 cm in there for the rest of my life. Please, do your research before running with a story.
