I don’t necessarily love the frequently used “patina” look but man, the story make me really appreciate this one. Leave it as is. It’s perfect……but add that Whipple 😁
All natural patina is great. It’s the fake patina that’s whack.
I agree, the real patina is cool, the fake is just that!
Drove a 59 Apache Fleetside to Santa Rosa High in 1972.
Green in color with chrome trim, bumpers and hubcaps..261"six with 3 speed..had a Stewart Warner Tach on the dash..kept track of it until a few years ago when the owner passed away..still looking for it???
I was second owner..any indications your truck was ever factory aqua green..still would be holes on dash from tach???
From the ashes, to one BADASS truck. Much respect.👍 Love the sound when he stomps on the loud pedal!
My friend years ago had a 59 in the Barrio. He went lowrider style like this. Without bags. The Phoenix rises from the ashes. Great story. 😎🆒🔥🔥🔥❤️🤑🤑
BEST BACKSTORY ON ANY VEHICLE EVER. I LOVE IT. A TRUE PHOENIX FROM PARADISE, WHICH COMES TOGETHER BEAUTIFULLY. PHOENIX IS THE RESURRECTION OF AN APACHE FROM PARADISE. THIS TRUE ONE OFF CAN NEVER BE REPLICATED. LOOKING AT THE FRONT END IT REALLY COULDN'T HAVE HAPPENED TO A BETTER, BADASS TRUCK. I HOPE THIS MAN KEEPS DRIVING THIS, AND KEEPS IT FOR LIFE. SHOWS HOW TOUGH CHEVY TRUCKS ARE. NO COMPARISON.
*LOVE THIS TRUCK💯 I BUILD CUSTOM HOT WHEELS RAT RODS*
I don't know what to say!!! Jaw was wide open. That truck is beautiful!!!
Ok now it doesn't get much cooler than that !
that is the most beautiful and awesome ugly truck ive ever seen, Awesome Build dude!!!!!
As soon as I turned on the video I heard how the truck sounded and I was impressed,
What a great story. Nice truck 2.
Paradise is my hometown. We lost a lot due to the camp fire. Glad to see another rescued classic come back to life. Well done.
Sorry for what you have gone through. I can’t imagine. Great story with this truck though and to see it brought back to life with such taste and style
WOW what a story and a magic job getting to this, absolutely awesome cool video cheers KC Cradle Mountain Tasmania Australia 🇦🇺🇦🇺🤝🇺🇸🇺🇸😎✌👊
Christ wept! When it comes to the rat rod patina look, this truck is the definition of next level! I'm not a fan of slamming & cutting the bed, but to each his own. Mad story with it too. Props to Jason for saving this one.
Glad he decided to give this truck another shot at being on the road. The history on this truck will live on! Hell yea
Man I love the look of that truck. And what an awesome story to bring this truck back from the dead
I agree Jared!
This is probably one of my favorite shoots.!
like a rock, people pay thousands now for that free patina, awesome job and thanks for saving the chevy
Good lookin' fleetside Jason
Nice work
I actually like that small window better
Then the big rear
Interior looks tight
So awesome 👍🏻👍🏽👊🏾 love it being saved from the fire great story, and it's a bad ass cruiser, daily driver well done 👏👏👏👏
What a great story and beautiful truck!!
I don't know if I should label your guest as a genius or a madman but thing's for sure, the story behind this build will thug at most people heartstrings. 💓
Great build. Cool story.
Fantastic. Go "Patina" !! Incredible build. Incredible video as usual. "Best In class". Greatly appreciated.
This is truly a unique piece of automotive art.
For me the stories behind the builds are just as interesting , if not more interesting , than the builds , themselves... nothing cookie cutter about this beast , that's what I love most.
Pushing the envelope and building or should I say , "resurrecting" a truck most would have sent to the crusher & turning it into , not only a bad ass ride but a rolling piece of art & a conversation piece that will never go out of style.
That's a hotrod Phoenix. Love the patina and the story. Thanks for saving it.
Huge thanks to AutotopiaLA for the time & effort to help tell the amazing & tragic story of Project Fired. Grateful for everyone that sees the story 🤙
Thanks for shooting with us Jason. Great build with an even crazier story!
There’s some great work in this .you don’t realise until you look under the skin …love it …keep well guys

Awesome truck. Glad to see it rebuilt. Cool seeing the Relaxed Atmosphere hat.
Reborn just Beautiful
This is one of my favorite trucks out there. Awesome that you saved it. So much life left. I personally know people who lost a lot in the Paradise fire. Nice job Jason. Hell of a tribute. 🤘

WOWZERS!!!!!

Appropriately this truck is🔥a true hot rod pick ‘em up truck!
Sad it’s history includes the forest fire, happy you decided to build it!
The truck is the epitome of the Phoenix!!
The Phoenix...mega cool!
This is not a one of one., It's a customized ride got so through The eyes of an artist, not the manufacturer.
Very beautiful Apache, out of all of the custom ones that I have seen which has been very few this is probably my favorite.
I enjoyed this video. Great job guys!
This truck is perfectly imperfect. 😍🔥
Esse canal é sensacional
Só projetos incríveis
Ervin at roadstershop is the man! I have got a few chassis from him
That's one BAD ASS survivor!
Baddest Apache I've ever seen

Agreed all the way. Such a cool find
This was at the Manhattan beach car show; very nice job!
I would take that look over any perfecly colored paint job..that nostalgia look lowered with nice rims cannot be beat..in my opinion
I LOVE IT!!!!! A TOTAL RESURRECTION!!!!! GREAT STORY AND A GREAT DAILY DRIVER!!!! THANKS FOR SHARING!!!!

That Chevy Apache Truck is 2 years younger than I am and you know what? I ain’t looking that good. 😅🇺🇸✌🏽
My VW Jetta 3 burnt down 10 years ago about. I could never get over it or replace it. I still miss my car :(
Very nice truck 👍 I much prefer this style of rat rod look to the ones that have chains and light fixtures and all sorts of random shit welded everywhere.
My man! Another excellent video with a great story. Awesome truck!!
This is my dream with a beat up truck with new motor and stuff
Slick truck!
Espectacular 🇻🇪🇻🇪🇻🇪
Cool ride, great story. Well done gentlemen.
Absolutely awesome!!!
Nice!!! Like history 4 this truck 👏👏👏🔥🔥🔥
Soo coOl!!!
this is not patina. it's battle scars! bad ass!!!
cool!
Add a wheelie bar! Not needed but still killer!!!
Masterpiece IMO
That thing is awesome mate ! wish we could have something like this in nederlands .
One of the most fire trucks I’ve seen in a min.
That brown patina color looks good on that truck. Nice build but that Paradise fire was cause from government technology weapons known as DEW( direct energy weapon).
That’s pretty cool I live in oroville ca I remember when the campfire was going on rip to those who post there loves
Awesome truck
What a story...wow
Now that's turning shit into sugar. Well done.
nice!
No worries about door dings. My kind of build.
Now that’s a truck
Perfect Apache, literally the only thing I would've done differently, is sourced some Bentley Burnt Oak leather and some of their Saddle for the lighter leather accents, it would've matched the truck absolutely perfectly, otherwise, it's gorgeous, I mean, how much does this truck remind you of Christine movie's Plymouth Fury during and after the gas station scene? 😅👌
Man, I love this channel!! I sport my AutotopiaLA shirt and hat often! Looking for places for the box of AutotopiaLA stickers! 😂 The AutotopiaLA key chain holds my ‘59 Fairlane keys. 🤘🏻
