Stewart was crazy out of control on the first jump after the holeshot. I don't know how he saved it. This is definitely the best SX race of the year. You can tell James Stewart is cruising when he's following Reed. When they start racing hard, Bubba looks like he's just shot out of a cannon. It shows just how fast he is.

I'll never forget that 16 year old kid who came in at Glen Helen in 2002 at the outdoors nationals opener and smoked everyone. From that point on I've followed him closely and he deserves respect.

When you ride aggressively, there will be bumping, but there is a fine line between aggressive riding to try to pass competitors, and aggressive riding to try to crash competitors. No one has ever seen stewart purposely crash someone. Reed on the other hand....

The reason james stayed behind him until the last 5 laps is he wanted to put alot of pressure and scare the shit out of reed and make him try hard as hell to stay in front, but it still didnt work.

Reed is consistent, thats why hes always in the points chase. He has so much bike control, and he never rides above his ability. Stewart rides above his ability and thats why hes always crashing. If reed wanted to go as fast as Stewart he could but he stays in his comfort zone. Whenever stewart loses he blames something or somebody else. Stewart is the one taking people out, Carmichael even says it in this video.
