Stop Motion - Battle of Panama (1671)

A stop motion representation of Captain Henry Morgan's attack on Panama in 1671 using plastic army men figures and props.
On January 28 of 1671, Captain Morgan and his crew of 1800 pirates attacked the Spanish city of Panama. The crew was able to drive the 3000 Spanish soldiers out of the city, and burned the city to the ground after plundering it. Following this humiliating defeat, word spread throughout the world quickly, and Spain lost face for losing one of their major cities to pirates.
