I do like the way the first guy sings better personably if that makes sense, but actual singing talent-wise yeah Antonia bitchslapped all the other competition holy Jesus his voice is liquid gold. But the first guy had such a more personable and relatable voice with more feeling in it

The guy starting at 5:55 would be so good if he wasn’t overacting some of the more important notes! You can hear he’s talented but he loses tone on some of the really cool vocal mirroring and ruins the metaphor of the melody to sound tearful in a way that’s too intense.
Definitely went too much on the acting… it had so much so much unnecessary notes.

So, tho clearly just my opinion, I think that the first guy was the best for this duet. The last guy had an amazing voice, no doubt, but it didn't compliment the female's singer's voice as well. Plus it had a little bit more of a deepness that I feeled fit the sound better.

I love seeing the way people take different harmonies and changing up the conversational parts (please/pardon?-; this is not a honeymoon...; Daphne I-; your grace?/please call me Simon; We're dooooooomed) throughout the first half as well as how they approach the acting. But he's not actually my favorite. For life of me I can't find which one is my favorite but it was another Black brother, who's saying I burn for you but sang it with an almost feather like touch and until he got for you where he sings it firmly, almost angrily. Loved that
I don't know if anyone's mentioned this yet, but I feel like "I was prepared to take my life that day" best delivery award goes to the girl at 4:20. Most people opt for going with the angry response, but her subtle tone and expression is just perfect for the line in my opinion. Like she's thining "that's really low of you to say that", which I think is exactly what Simon would think having heard that.

The first time I ever saw this tik tok was with the first guy and I was just mind blown, I have loved it ever since and no matter how many versions I have seen none of them has captured my attention like the first guy.
