Another great project! When this was announced, this very marking scheme in the instructions really caught my eye. You did an incredible job and I love the vignette you built for it too 😊
Thank you very much!
Seeing as though you are an American I will forgive you for calling it a 'Range Rover'. A Range Rover is a different beast than the 'Land Rover'. Land Rover is a rough and ready military or farm used 4x4, whereas the Range Rover is a more refined, luxurious personal vehicle. Love the little Dio, especially the addition of the windsock ! I definately need to get this kit, been waiting for a short wheel based Landy for years.
I appreciate the slack. Many have already commented on my mis-terminology. I'm glad that you enjoyed the video, and it is a really wonderful kit that I'm sure you'd enjoy.
Land Rover Series II 88, not Range Rover 😀. Nice work.
Yes...others have noted my mis-speak as well. Thanks for watching.
That was great Rick!!! The subtle weathering was spot on, and love the base!!! I have not used a sponge for stencils, but need to try it for sure now!!! Thanks very much, that was awesome!! Bill
Glad you enjoyed it, Bill. A privilege to have you in the audience.
I just today bought this kit from a model shop on a day out. I’m looking forward to building mine which my immediate thought was to do this scheme. Colour accuracy is not vital to me, so long as they are close enough to my eyes that’s good enough for me.
Same here on the colors...close it good enough. I hope you enjoy the kit.
Hi Rick, that was a throughly enjoyable build to watch, even if you did keep calling the vehicle by the wrong name, I think the Landrover is a better looking vehicle , I may even try and get this kit here in Australia, I hope they do a Series III at some stage, best regards from Australia 👍👍👍👍
Yep, I kept calling it the wrong vehicle - believe me, everyone is letting me know. Just a slip, but, oh well.
Another great video and liked the painting and weathering techniques you "demo'd" there.
Thank you very much!
Really like these none Military Vignettes. Very nice work on the vehicle and the base, love the windsock.
thanks, Grant!!!
Remember to hit the LIKE & SUBSCRIBE BUTTONS! Thanks. And yes, I understand that I misspoke and called the Land-Cruiser a Range Rover throughout. Sorry. Cheers.
It's not a Land Cruiser either.!
I like kits that are that small but very well detailed. That one’s definitely on my list to buy.
Yes, this is a wonderful balance of detail, size, and fun....!!!
Love the blue!
Thanks, Dan. Me too.
I started the kit today and wonder why they split the leaf springs down the middle. There are so many details broken when cleaning up. I will replace them from other kits.
A little over-engineered in some areas, I'll agree.
Really nice build Rick 👏👍
Thanks 👍
Great done! All the best for You! ;)
Thank you! You too!
@@RickLawlerPropaganda Thank You! ;)
👍
Cheers!!!
I will not comment on the name. However, wouldn't a gloss finish look more appropriate on a commercial vehicle? Other than that the finished product looks great!
It does have a semi-gloss finish, but I don't think that the pics pick up the sheen well.
Bare fingers on clear parts... bold move sir.
is there another way?
Not a Range Rover! But a great build anyway. 👍🏻🇬🇧
Thanks 👍 Others have also let me know that I mis-spoke.
it's a land rover, not a range rover
Understood. Others have also pointed out my mis-speak.
It's not a Range Rover
Noted...take a look at the pinned comment
psst, its a land rover not range rover dude.😉
Yea...mis-speak. Thanks for watching
Rubber ties.....really AK.......Resin or printed should be the standard.
Gives the aftermarket something to work on. thanks for watching, Greg
Stop calling the vehicle a Range Rover. It isn't one. It's a Land Rover 88 inch as it says on the box.
Surely you can read the words on the box.
Noted - take a look at the pinned comment.
Land-Rover, don't forget the hyphen, either 😅
Added hyphens where I could...take care
Where did you get that kit from? Can I get it in the UK?
