How To Install White LED Badge Honda [Step-by-Step Installation Guide]

- Welcome back everyone! Today I will show you how to install white LED badge illuminated emblem Honda logo. Simple to install. I first saw these on a Mercedes front badge. Very eye catching. Some Honda have sensors behind the front emblem so I opted to just do the rear. Wanted it simple so I kept it white. Other light choices were red and blue. Some that are two tone and can connect with the brake wire.

Yes. Fishing wire works much better. I didn't have any at the time so dental floss did the trick for me.
Would you happen to have a follow up review on how the badge held up thru time and weather? I have the same one and i feel like its too cheaply made to endure the elements for too long
It's been about a year now. Holding up pretty well through Seattle winter storms, snow and rain. I do however am starting to notice the bottom right is a little dimmer.
@@AutoSensation thanks for the quick reply. Im actually considering applying glossifier from plastidip to protect it and MAYbe clearcoating it just to give it luster (being that glossifier isnt actually glossy). I figured doing this would make it last longer, especially since the unit isnt actually sealed (the backing that lights up can actually be pushed in thus allowing water and dust to get in. Hope that idea helps the 2 of us. Thanks again!

Works well. The tape is nice and strong
Will it go to front bumper?
No. Front bumper badge is too big and it might interfere with the sensor behind the emblem.

My car uses a single bulb for parking lights and brakes. It's a dual filament one, P21/5W. Can I still use the wire for this as a power source? It's 12volts but I am afraid the leds on the logo might become more intense when braking or even get damaged. Should I maybe try to connect to license plate ?
Yes. I would try the license plate power. I'm not sure how the brake will affect the outcome.

Yes. Flush with the surface. It's about .5 inches thick.

I have not done the one in front yet as I think it might interfere with the radar behind the front emblem.

No. They are static. Stays on when parking light or headlights are on.
1st of all no one heres weird enough to wanna know your lisense plate number.
2nd of all this isnt really an installation video. You just show how to put wiring through the car which is not rocket science & you didnt show demonstrate how to instal the ground and power wires to make it work.
