  • Savoie has the talent, but his size could cause him to get taken later than expected.

Sounds like a potential Red Wing 1st round pick. The Arizona Coyotes, who have their early 1st round draft pick, have two late 1st round draft picks. They also have four second round draft picks. That is a team to watch in trading draft picks. Stevie Y has a 1st round draft, two 2nd round picks, a third and three 4th round picks. He loves to trade draft picks.

Needs to add a lot of strength and work with moving puck in heavy traffic before taking the next step, but he looks like he could be an effective playmaker. If Savoie goes to Philly, that Should leave Jirikec who Columbus will take. But I think I speak for most Columbus Fans when I say I’d rather have Savoie or Nazar over Jiricek!! And thats saying alot as I have Jirikek as the best defender in this draft by far!! I see him being a Top line defender and having an amazing career in the NHL!! But I like that hot fire!! Gimme the Goals!! Columbus Needs Centers and Left wings we have a great young talent pool coming up with a bunch of RD’s and LD’s!! So I don’t know what these lazy analyst are talking about!! I think we might even Trade down to Ottawa or Buffalo, which I would personally do if it was Jirikec and still get my guy plus one of their extra 1st round picks!! I just see Savoie or Nazar being the perfect pieces to add along side all of our other young guns like Kent Johnson, Cole Sillinger, Yegor Chinakhov, Kirill Marchenko, Dimitri Voronkov who will all eventually play with Laine!! Plus we have the 12th to take Whoevers left out of Lambert, Geekie, Gauthier, Kasper, Yurov, Howard and Ohgren!!! But Columbus Cant miss in this draft class!! I think this is one of the better Forward Classes in a long time!! I see 20ish Top Liners coming out of this Class where as its usually just a few!! And some of them are coming going in the 2nd and 3rd round!! Also, I keep seeing people project Kemell going to Columbus!! Thats crazy to me based on obvious Team needs alone!! Plus Savoie probably gonna be a right wing and can play center and so can Nazar so why Kemell??SMh
