      We are very lucky to be doing what we’re doing currently. It’s so nice seeing more and more more aussies on the road now as we head out of Covid

    Lurrvve that you guys find so many out of the way places off the beaten tr@ck! Your usual excellent production skills makes each episodes’s ‘journey’ so entertaining. Shrimpy 🦐

      YES! This excursion was the definition of exploring, following rough directions and random arrows into the bush in search of a mystical oasis 🥰

      Thank you 😊!
      This week was so much fun. We had no idea that the waterfall was there before we arrived, and no idea about the rodeo. The beauty of travelling is discovering things because of a tip from a local 🥰🤟😆
      Where are you thinking of travelling to?

    OMG!!!!!!, I just want to travel across and around Australia just like you guys. You guys are so inspirational, keep it up. I have a goal so hopefully in the next two years i'll be able to. However I will be travelling up to Airlie beach for 4months as skipper in the Whitsundays in two weeks time and leaving SYD.

    • @IfNotNow
      @IfNotNow  Před 2 lety +2

      Oh yeah, that’s so sick. We can highly recommend doing a lap (or 2!). Mate we’re a bit jealous of your skipper life, we’re half considering learning to sail next, so we can get out and explore all the islands off Australia. You’ll have a blast in Airlie, what a beautiful place to be based for Winter 🏝

      @@IfNotNow You should definitely learn to sail, as soon as you understand it. Its so majestic using the wind for transport... If you in SYD later this year (after September) message me and I'll take you on my parents boat around Pittwater/ Hawkesbury area. Im also a sailing instructor, so you'll be in good hands haha

    • @IfNotNow
      @IfNotNow  Před 2 lety +1

      Oh yeah I can imagine. We’ve just started learning to kitesurf, and it’s exhilarating to feel the power of the wind pulling you about.
      Oh yeah? That would be so fun. We might actually be around NSW in Sept ish, will drop you a message if it looks like we are 🤟

    What battery / solar capacity are you running in the van? AGM or lithium?

    • @IfNotNow
      @IfNotNow  Před 2 lety +1

      We have two 150 amp deep cycle agm batteries and 300w of solar on the roof. (Since this video we found that the solar panels were over heating as during manufacturing had been applied directly to the roof and as such no air could pass underneath to cool them down, our new panels are great and unless it’s considerably overcast we have no issues running the inverter (2000w) to power devices and charge drone batteries. We’ve both talked about putting in a third if we were to keep the van long term or adding more solar. But for now, having had them fixed, it’s sufficient for our needs.
