Just wonderful. Magical memories, brilliant horses. Still hard to watch Dancing Brave's Derby, but in defeat, what an incredible performance in the end. This is a beautifully crafted piece of television - thanks to all concerned.

Yes, such a master trainer. Never needed the full mighty support of Coolmore, unlike O'Brien.

Tony. Vincent was basically coolmore. I know what you mean about Aiden etc getting the support. Sir Michael got great support also getting all those home breds from aga Khan and Arab horses to train. Great trainers but Vincent was unreal as was completely involved in purchasing his horses at sales. Wonderful story about Vincent seeing Nijinsky by Chance and has to have him. Hence the foundation of coolmore as Nijinsky's sire was northern dancer and they concentrated on his off spring for a generation and coolmore stud started. Great trainers sir Michael, Aiden and others are but Vincent is alone and only trained 40-60 horses.

Great to see Sir Michael Stoute giving a long interview, usually he’s not one for talking, that’s his way, but he’s a great trainer.

So nice to hear Sir Michael mention Greville Starkey with such fondness. For many, he’ll be remembered for only one race but he deserves to be ranked among the greats. In my opinion, he was second only to Lester in a finish.

*What was Lester Piggot Like as a person, did he sign autographs, was he popular with the other jockeys and trainers, in the USA there are jockeys with 5500 to 8000 wins, are these American Legends better, was Lester tight with money, did he ever buy a Rolls Royce, was his wife happy, so many unanswered questions, rumours are circulating he was not a pleasant or nice guy to know. In fact, hated amongst fellow Jockeys.*
