On this episode of Restaurant Secrets with Joey Karvelas, Joey (from Karvelas Pizza Co) shows you it hardly takes any time to make an easy pizza dough that will turn your home into a pizzeria! With the same instant dough recipe, you can make a classic New York-style pizza as well as a hearty calzone and sweet zeppole for dessert.

    INSTANT PIZZA DOUGH
    Ingredients:
    2.2 lbs bag High Gluten Bread Flour (12%+ Protein)
    2.5 cups water
    1 ¾ tablespoon salt
    1 ¾ tablespoon sugar
    1 ¾ tablespoon oil
    1 packet of dry instant yeast
    Recipe:
    Mix in a stand mixer for about 6 minutes,
    Form the dough into roughly 3-4 balls and wrap tightly.
    PIZZA:
    Pizza Shop Sauce
    Mozzarella
    Tasty meats
    Mushrooms
    Peppers
    Onions
    Cook time - approximately 8 minutes at 450 until lightly golden brown
    CALZONE:
    Stretch one dough ball into a circle.
    Add ricotta, mozzarella, and pecorino.
    Fold dough over to create half-moon shape and crim pthe edges with pizza cutter handle.
    Cut a hole in the top.
    Cook time - approximately 8 minutes at 450 until lightly golden brown. Serve with Marinara Sauce.
    ZEPPOLE
    Cut dough into bite-sized pieces and fry at 350 until floating. Cover with powdered sugar and serve with nutella.
