Furor Celtica was huge there, bombards couldn't one-shot the scorpions
That fish raid was insane.
I want to see a community game where high elo players provide eco for low elo players. The low level players can talk to the high elo, but the high elo can't talk back.
Love the idea!! If only T90 could provide us villagers with such a delight
@@karqoa3968 I want to see what crazy attack strats low elos would employ if they had good eco.
@@Snafu_ZYou can just make a custom match with high or infinite resources
@kantanenakseli8886 I know, but it is not the same. You can't raid infinite eco and there is no limit to production. If pros provide eco, it makes it so the pro has to adapt to the strats of the low elos. Eco would be much higher than the low elo is used to but not unlimited.
Lol the pros talking even less than they did before
T90 - The best caster. Learnt a lot from this particular video. Thanks man
re Tuna, i don't think everyone appreciates how precarious culture is in a community. T90 has done a massive lift making AOE2 arguably the most positive gaming community out there, but it can come undone without constant upkeep. Perfect correction to the toxicity in this case, and 100% necessary.
No ur toxic
That was just 2 lines of shittalking from a random twitch user, I wouldn't call something like that toxic, it's just something you have to expect if you want to interact with any sort of crowd on the internet. I'd argue this community has gotten really thin-skinned as of late. See: any time a gg isn't called the second the game ends everyone gets their panties in a twist.
The games I procrastinate at work and at home for! Great job T90!
first t90 casting i've watched in months. great game. love your content t90
Still can't believe how horrible that movie was, where the rock was a scorpion 😂
Well, that was his first movie ever, so his widespread fame nowadays is thanks to that.
The Mummy Returns is a great movie
That was one weird-ass sequel for a great movie.
What do you mean horrible? It's a comedic classic. It's supposed to be camp and stupid. Yes, there is also a lot of unintentional camp but really, "horrible" is a strong word to use for a cult classic.
t90 this was awesome thank you
For anyone wondering, Spirit of the Law did a very comprehensive breakdown of fishtraps quite a while back. It boils down to, fishtraps are more cost efficient but slower for anyone before late game imp. And Japanese are actually better on traps because faster work rate, but that's one civ so w.e.
Which resulted in them being underused for the longest time. Who cares about cost efficiency when they work slower than farms? Right?
Just "recently" the understanding developed: Who cares? I can have 3+ "TC"s before castle but most of my workers are a bit worse and only gather food? Well that makes only a difference if both players are popcapped .... for a while. Otherwhise one side is having more workers faster. Yes, they're a bit worse that farmers. But that's it. A bit. So would you rather have 25 min 150 worker count with 40 of them being somewhat worse, or have 110 workers to begin with?
For me, this is one of the reasons why Viper is the GOAT. He spotted fish traps usefulness (in BF) long before it became common at a high level because he understood this fact.
Don't they also cost more Wood than Farms, though? I suppose it depends what army you're making; you may not need Wood aside from production buildings, but maybe part of why the fish trap strategy was tried by Celts is their Wood bonus.
@@dembro27 They also give more food than a farm, which is why I was saying they're more cost efficient than farms until late imp. (Fishing traps are 715 food compared to the 175 of farms. Only after crop rotation are you getting more food per wood from a farm)
I mean, yeah, you need to get it going once, sure. That is somewhat more costly. But once it's off the ground, as soon as the first set of farms would be receded you're in the net positive.
TBF there is also the wood cost of fishing ships, I guess. But then they're just workers you bought with wood (which equates to food to a certain degree) so w/e but yes, you need more woodworkers than what you're used to.
Ah but Mr. T90, fishtraps are extremely cheap somehow. Idk how slow they are, but they give you about 700 food for 100 wood iirc, whereas farms are like 60 for 350 or whatever. I took out a calculator in a game, because it surprised me that much
They're 17% cheaper, but the food supposedly comes in a little slower (haven't seen actual numbers) so they probably have ups and downs, just depends on the player.
In some cases I think they're valuable because they're harder to raid.
@@bluedistortions I bet Spirit of The Law will have the answer.
town center and the rest of the map terrain switched! interesting ^^
woads are so underrated rn
Free Big Tuna!! He was right all along!
great game
What stops a player from watching the stream and seeing their opponents base?
Explosive fish boom; did you hear that bass?
played an epic game earlier, where can I send it?
I'd probably go to his discord
I think he just picks random games for low elo legends and he knows the big boys for casting
@@Casketkrusher_ he does accept tips, but there's no guarantee he'll cast it
Business only email for sure
There's a game submissions channel in the Discord
Whenever T90 has to say Fish traps, he ends up saying Fiss Traps.
And instead of Men-at-arms, it's always man-at-arms or armses or man-at-arm for singular. :-D
He says Fish Traps. Maybe something is wrong with your hearing.
this map needs shallows connecting the ponds.
such a close game. vinch almost had that. gg
The Rock thumbnail
Godly thumbnail
❤
@@iamUglie Hello T90's editor :-) Please keep putting the usernames of the Low Elo Legends in the description of the Lel-videos, that would be rad
@@Brigand17 they're still in the tags. Descriptions and titles don't do anything so you won't be seeing it anywhere, but they're behind the tags which actually work when searching
nice thumbnail

Wow such scorp
much sneak
Maybe im a noob, but why did red surrender, couldn't he had turned it around, he still had decent vills on gold and a castle to make more units
Nili is a hacked map!!!!!!!!!!!
29:00
Game ending? Come on he has 5k gold he can buy wood to replace ships...
Fish trap are not so efishent
I much prefer twitch as a streaming platform, but man the morons in twitch chat really make me miss facebook.
Bombard cannons need to be nerfed
trust in God
Can someone explain to me why scorpions were better than onagers here? I feel like onagers would have done better against gbetos
Scorps dont have friendly fire
@@RentitLeb That makes a ton of sense. Thank you! I feel like I would have still gone onagers and just held back my infantry but I see the merit in letting both work at the same time.
A Score to pie on. Ok no that one makes zero sense sorry.
Hello youtube
What were they envisioning for the map?
Boom fest like most open maps upon reaching Castle Age. AOE 2 community doesnt really have good map designers, they fall for the same misconceptions every single time they design or adjust maps, no true creativity since they hold the same fundementals which prevents innovation.
To be more specific, it's the connect-the-dots kind of tiny woodlines that lead into this palaside arena, same applies to Arabia. Based on the childish assumption that "opening" a map leads to more aggression, it's too reductive to be the singular framework for map design.
And regarding this "Pit" gimmick, obviously it plays no meaningful role in any win condition established by any of the players since the gold mines aren't even inside the pit, they're all around it, none of them really went inside. So you can just 4tc boom into a defensive castle next to your base, on the edge of the pit, in reach of a huge gold mine.
You should try the Ushguli map in the mods section. Each player starts with two gold piles and a stone pile, with a tower and a house adjacent to each. It's a 9 villager start. Each player also has large mountains on either side of their base with more gold and stone to fight over. The interesting part of the map is that it can be played either as an open map or closed map, with the towers next to valuable resources making raiding and even scouting much riskier. Strategies are quite a bit different compared to most maps, since early aggression is very difficult, but letting opponents boom is dangerous.
@@SvanTowerMan That's an interesting concept, I'll check it out. Definitely innovative and refreshing by the sound of it.
(With that being said I don't think we have to go this far to achieve strategic diversity)
@@ThisIsMyRoad I didn't want to say this at first, but the basic concept was one that I came up with, and then a map maker on the forums fleshed it out. So I hope you do like it.
Do we blame TheViper 🐍 and his amazing work on BF for the rise of the FISH BOOM?!? 🤣
What a SUPERB game from BOTH Players! 💎 Wow! 😲 Top notch. 👍
