I don't know, you see union is already established in grassroots with big colleges having each a rugby union team, also MLR is a fully professional union league. And players like the Kelce brothers, their father played union.
Kiwi here! So stoked to see the support for our boys, my team is the NZ Warriors, we are the only kiwi team with 16 Australian teams in the league so always the true underdogs! UP THE WAHS ❤
I’m a nth qlder ,so cowboys are my team….but warriors are the next team I follow/barrack for…..especially with the sacrifices they did during Covid giving up home games…Thurston was pushing for them to have more home games in 2023…they kept the game alive….
You’re gonna love the NRL games. Hope the rugby games turn in up for you aswell. Enjoy the games bro. Glad our game is hitting the US hope you guys love it as much as us
our boy been grinding our sports from down under for years and getting his well due recognition. its because of people like you reacting to sports down under that they are aware how entertaining it might be much love
Thank you for being excited about the game heading your way and I’m impressed with your knowledge of the different codes… you sound like a dang pro! 🙌🏽We appreciate anyone who does their research and equally just as happy when you passionately speak about it. You won’t be disappointed! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Out of all the American react videos to our sport, i have to say you are by far the best. You already seem like you have taken the time to learn a bit about rugby league and rugby. The fact your going to the game is another level of it. Keep up the good work brother.
Russel didn’t explain the offside with being on defence and having to be behind the kicker before kicking to ball and also the 40-20 kick but I guess he’s keeping it simple to begin with I think that’s a smart choice
Those of you that don't know, the Australian Rugby League took a State of Origin series to the USA back in 1987, a total of 12,349 attended at the Veterans Stadium Long Beach, California
I'm so happy for you that you are going to League and Union games this year. Your videos are really to watch, and I have been followed you since 1k I believe. Keep it up bro.
That Rugby union ball you received. is larger (wider) than a rugby league ball (steeden) so it is easier to kick conversions with and also doesn't have a trickier bouncing trajectory once it hits the ground. ..another reason why i prefer NRL
Cool mate! Really good job. Some of the most exciting, acrobatic tries are scored in the corners of the field by the faster players on the field- the wingers. If your team has a really good kicker who can kick a goal from the sideline - that helps! 😏
Rugby already has a comp in the US been going for 3 years now MLR major league rugby! Some of the all Black's and pumas and south Africans already play in it. Like Ma'a nonu
Every American who goes to both games are going to love it,you will all see how all us Aussies play rugby league and will see why we dont wear pads or helmets, its a fast game and is extremely tough.
I think Union has a bigger head start and is what most Americans that know anything about Rugby forms of football will already have some knowledge of. However, it is a much smaller step from American football to League then it is to Union. Americans can understand the game of League after watching it once, no one understands Union. BTW I am really impressed how you know the distinction. Even Americans that know there is a difference still seem unable to tell them apart. League was a professional sport from the very beginning. Union has only been so for the last 40 years. As a result the rules of League are designed to get audiences in, Rugby is designed for the players.
hell yes i played rugby league at a representative level in western Sydney for over 10 years.. i've been knocked out cold, i've won games. I've been a hero and a disappointment... this gave me CHILLS!! you guys ARE GOING TO LOVE THIS!!!.. Trust.
Rugby league will be much more popular than Union simply because it’s more similar to nfl than union is and it’s also much easier to understand and it’s also a less scrappy because there’s no rucks instead it’s a simple play the ball
After watching Super Bowl and last 2 minutes taking 14 min due to all the stoppages and a game taking 4 hrs , it will be interesting to see what you Americans think of a fast paced game that finishes in 90 min with a break at 40min unless goes extra time.
Video idea: should do a recap after the games for each one having a different video, include a couple blog style clips but mainly doing a vid retelling your experience and going over highlights of the match
League will be much more popular in America the plus that Union has is that its in more countries and they have an amazing World Cup. League would have a ridiculously good World Cup but not enough countries know about league yet it’s only really well known in Australia, New Zealand and England and somewhat known in Japan
Bro... I'm looking forward to your reactions/ vlogs at and during the games. Takes some fams n friends coz it's gna be cheap for the fans. Go hang with some league fans and you'll be welcomed bro. They're a great bunch 99% of them. You'll have fun n get great content❤❤
Hey mate. First time viewer here. Just wondering if you managed to get tickets. I was told that they sold out months ago. Hope you were able to snap up last minute tickets. Maybe resale?! Enjoy! If you go to Vegas i’ll pop back in and watch. Thanks!
Rugby League probably has more potential in the states. Not just because of the pace and easy to understand rules, theres more star potential too. Union has this culture foundation of humbleness/gentlemens game yada yada that kinda holds it back in my opinion. You ask casuals who watch both codes and I promise they'll mostly be able to name more league players than union.
Americans will definitely love the flow and big hits of rugby league. Union is more cerebral and appeals to a more sophisticated fan. I understand NFL is also very strategic it's understood from birth almost. What I'm saying is NRL is ridiculously fast and exciting, making it appealing to the masses. Union not as much but is still a amazing discipline of football.
Your prices to see the game is insane! 😱 Tickets on the sideline in Vegas were $189 American = $289au Eg. A sideline ticket at Suncorp stadium in Qld is $85au = $55 American. Hell, a Family sideline ticket for 2adults & 2 kids is $235au = $153 American. Ripped! 😢
As fan of both league and union I'd assume Americans would prefer league. The way I've always felt with the two is that union is more fun to play while league is easier to watch. Also as a Broncos fan hope you enjoy seeing our boys play, if the couple of preseason games they've played already are any signs they're going to put on a show.
Russell Crowe is actually from NZ haha.. I saw the Aussies beat the All Blacks many years ago in the MCG in Melbourne. So pleased you are gonna see the real deal..
Sea eagles are a club in Sydney there from a wealthy area, Souths Sydney Rabbitohs are basically other side of the city and has been know to be very rough area. Im definitely going for rabbits, Sydney roosters are from the Eastern suburbs and parts of inner sydney including the CBD ,Broncos are from Queensland and a city called Brisbane. worth going to watch you can hear the body collisions lol
It’s a big opportunity. Helps that season runs pretty much opposite to the nfl so Americans looking for a contact sport during the off season won’t have to choose which to watch. Smart move from the nrl plus it’s a brilliant game
I just hope its a good spectacle for you guys. Our fields are wider so I hope the narrower field at Allegient doesn't cause problems and ruin it for you guys. Go Broncos!
Mate, you are the first American that actually knows the difference between League and Union - great stuff man 👍👏👏👏
@@cruzmakaveli9891as an Australian, no. Australia is a shithole 😂 don’t degrade him like that
It’s good to see an American who know the difference between league and union
NRL has a much better chance in the USA than Rugby, its more fast paced and easier to understand
💯 agree
and its more similar to nfl
I don't know, you see union is already established in grassroots with big colleges having each a rugby union team, also MLR is a fully professional union league. And players like the Kelce brothers, their father played union.
Also union is just going to get bigger in USA as they have the 2031 rugby world cup license
League is only big in Australia and PNG and you think it will grow in the US?
You know the difference between league and union. Respect.
Kiwi here! So stoked to see the support for our boys, my team is the NZ Warriors, we are the only kiwi team with 16 Australian teams in the league so always the true underdogs! UP THE WAHS ❤
Cant have any more then one we are afraid for our sheeps.

An Aussie here mate.
You may be the underdogs, but you play any other country. You are our cousins, we are with you all the way. 👍
Nz needs more teams in the league same as new Guinea it would make the game better
Thats Brilliant that you're going to catch Round 1 in Vegas!! Be sure to vlog it or take some pics for sure!! Oh, and UP THE BRONCOSSSSS!! 🔥🔥🐴🐴

I love both codes.

Broooo, glad your going to see both nrl and 7s. Lesssgoo👌🏾🔥

Been waiting for your reaction vid to this ❤️ So glad you’re going to the NRL games and fyi Russell Crowe owns the Rabbitohs
Russel didn’t explain the offside with being on defence and having to be behind the kicker before kicking to ball and also the 40-20 kick but I guess he’s keeping it simple to begin with I think that’s a smart choice
I think he's explained it in the uncut version.
@@hondomclean6759 oh didn’t know there was an uncut version, I thought this was the whole ad
@@razzo086 I stand corrected. I thought Russell explained a 40/20 kick however he has not.

NRL was a fantastic, wild game many years ago. But of course the sookies stepped in and has changed the game.

Rugby already has a comp in the US been going for 3 years now MLR major league rugby!

I think there's 13 to 15 teams
Rugby is also right thru the US College system, kids from all round the world play in it, from NSCRO thru to D1 and has pathways to MRL.
I love the NRL. I’m so glad the new season is starting. Footy is life lol
Seeing elite rugby league players close up in a game is a real eye opener. You are in for a treat.

I think the iconic status and natural likeability of our AB's will play a huge role for union, but NRL on the whole will probably be more captivating.
