- Indonesian train travel has blown us away already. It is our first Indonesian train today from Jakarta (Gambir station) to Bandung Indonesia. Indonesia has really done an impressive job with their train system. We are planning on travelling as much of Java and Indonesia as we can on Indonesian trains!
This is the beginning of our adventure in Bandung, Indonesia.

I highly recommend going with a local acquaintance/one of your kind-hearted subscribers because there are still many tourist places in Bandung, really try to take advantage if you are foreigner(tourist), so you get an unpleasant experience, be careful with scams
Welcome to Bandung, if you want cooler temperature (about 20-25°C) than the city you can visit Ciwidey or Lembang tea plantation & strawberry farm , still near bandung area .....

Coba rasakan sensasi naik kereta api terjauh 930 km (Jakarta - Jember). 14.5 jam perjalanan.
Jika sudah sampai. Dengan naik bis di terminal, 100 km atau 2 jam lagi anda sampai di penyeberangan Bali.
Try to visit KAWAH PUTIH ( white crater ) the vast sulfur lake with blue green tosca color its amazing located around 25 km southern part of Bandung, and Gunung Tangkuban Perahu ( upside down mountain ) you can drive car till the edge of crater located ariund 20 km northern part of Bandung, on the way you will see vie vast green tea plantation. In Bandung city you can try visit to Cihampelas Walk, Paris Van Java,Braga street, for resto recomebd to Ambrogio resto at Banda street.
Bandung is capital of west Java provence located more then 700 meters up sea level so the climate rather cooler than Jakarta

Bandung is a highland with cooler air - tea plantations - waterfalls - dominated by very beautiful natural scenery - also very good food (Bandung - west java/etnis : Sundanese)

Wilujeung Sumping.. welcome to the city of bandung (paris van java), i am from bandung and i am very grateful that you have visited my city, i just give a little advice while you are in bandung, if you want culinary you can visit sudirman street market, bandung has culinary typical, namely "Batagor", try it, and I'm sure you like it 😂 and if you are going to visit Lembang, Ciwidey, I suggest you use a grab car, and you need to remember that if you visit tourist attractions in Bandung, Bandung has quite expensive prices, and if while you are in a place someone approaches you and says "guide", be careful, maybe it's a "scam"! I hope Bandung is memorable in your heart.. 😊

The best route to travel in Java island: jakarta- bandung ( visit ciwidey to visit white crater, then pangalengan, then lembang) - jogjakarta ( prambanan and brorobudur temple) - Malang (bromo mountain and tumpak sewu waterfall) - banyuwangi (ijen crater, tabuhan island, pulau merah to wait sunset). you can reach these routes by train. happy travel dude.
